the behavior from the org lately had me a bit confused, as it seemed to fall outside of their norm.

i'm not talking the hardcore armageddon wishers texting each other about peace and security, etc.

* but, the elders contacting people daily, and having extra meetings where they have all their additional rules.

Family in law sending apps with UN and JW related media items, kingdom songs, expecting the big Armagedon every moment now. Yesterday a card from an elder family writing they think about us and that we can watch the memorial at stream (not Zoom 😁).

does anybody have a copy of the harbeck letters 1933 or does anyone know where to get a copy of it or just to have a read of it?these are letters that brother harbeck who was the branch overseer in switzerland wrote ,.

"a letter written by brother harbeck in august 1933 was given wide distribution among the german brothers and was used by the fearful ones in their discussions as proof of the rightness of their stand..."(yearbook of jws 1974).. i am looking for this letter in connection to a project.

Legal Concerns About "Zoom" Meetings!

this whole "zoom" thing has got me wondering whether some of it is legal or not.

if a person has to dress up for a zoom meeting the way the watchtower dictates, doesn't this really go "beyond" cult?.

even the cults who committed mass suicide were able to dress the way they wanted for their meetings.

My brother in law told me he just wear shirt and tie and forget that when he stand up, his shorts were at Zoom.

Had to laugh about it.

So JW style, using a way to communicate and making rules about how to wear clothes.
