  i had originally thought that making the rules clear about what was and wasn't going to be allowed when discussing the michael brown verdict that we'd be able to avoid some of the unpleasantness that surrounded the subsequent trayvon martin trial discussions.. michael brown verdict discussion policy.

  i had hoped that once the evidence came out there would not be as many people promoting opinions that contradicted it.

  unfortunately, that appears to have been naive of me.

  Interesting sermon by a white pastor in Kansas City Missouri to his predominately white congregation, Country Club Congregational Church.

  The Country Club District still has Racial Restriction Laws on the City books about land and housing ownership, it is deemed 'to expensive' to rewrite the paragraphs.

  Can the US, from the Federal level to the towns, get its act together for its youth. Ferguson is like thousands of towns and cities in the US where money flows away from urban centers to the suburbs. Stats show that unemployment in Ferguson and St. Louis County are 3 times greater for Blacks than Whites. and this has been rather consistent for 60+ years according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

  So knowing the problem, and knowing the trend, why are there not more Apprenticeship Programs begun in the School Districts focused on job skills needed in the County. When you graduate from High School should you have a marketable skill. Should 2 year degree Trade and Tech Schools be readily available.

  if a person gives a police report of a traumatic event, but later changes their facts during cross-examination, these changes are used to impeach the honesty of the witness.. this impeachment flows from a logical understanding facts must match reality without contradiction.. lets examine the history of the watchtower corporations leaders with a view to the harmony of.

  true teaching over a period of years from 1879-1942.. "even though christmas is not the real anniversary of our lord's birth, but more properly the annunciation day or the date of his human begetting (luke 1:28), nevertheless, since the celebration of our lord's birth is not a matter of divine appointment or injunction, but merely a tribute of respect to him, it is not necessary for us to quibble particularly about the date.

  My maternal Grandparents were Bible Students who became JWs in the 1930s. We all celebrated Christmas together in the 1950s. Both Grandparents passed away in the late 1950s and we stopped celebrating Christmas around 1960.

  JWs under Rutherford to Knorr to Franz all had to figure out ways to distance themselves from the Bible Students otherwise logically it would be the Bible Students who would be the FDS and not the JW leaders.

  These Leaders all had tremendous egos. They had to be right at all costs and through all contradictions.

  There was a long lasting running theological one-upmanship between Paul Johnson and Fred Franz- who was the greater theological savant.

  We all paid a price for the egos and lunacy of some very strange guys....
