jews for thousands of years have believed in their "one god" so i always wondered if in jesus time this was the view, how and when did the trinity start?

Instead of waiting and fuming Think, and study outside of the box you were raised in. You can't put God in a box or label the Supreme Being with a Creed.
Go outside tonight and look at the Moon and Venus next to it, our ancestor Abraham stood and saw that amazing sight and our grandchildrens grandchildren will be seeing it far into the future. Its an amazing universe.

i've spent the better part of today while my kids were in school reading many threads.. some background...i am in my mid 30s, married, 2 kids.
i was born and raised a jw...came from "good" stock...elders, pioneers, etc.
You'll find your way. Being good parents, caring for each other, those are great things in life. Plan to explore things you may have put off, skills you want to develop, education, envolvement in your community, many things will bring you close to the people around you.
This earth has a lot of beauty to enjoy, our time here is a gift and priviledge.

Individuals and groups who take a uber literal view of scriptures the most egregious teaching being a literal Hell which defames the Supreme Being which I happen to like alot.

No just Trinitarian Fundamentalist's. So are you going to be specific about the Church or Denomination you attend or follow.

Yes I went to prison during the Vietnam War as a conscientious objector. Do you want to answer the question about which church(s) you go to or were brought up in.
the years have pass and so has my age, so lately i have been thinking, should i add my daughter in.
since i have seen or talk to her.have not seen my grand-daughter the youngest.
the oldest i saw her over 10yrs ago..i feel my grand kids should know where they came from.. i do not have a lot to leave for my kids, i have four, the other three i have a good relationship...but.
You can write your will with any stipulations you want, set up a college fund for the grandkids, have provisions for health care if anyone has special needs etc.. You can set up a Family Trust or Foundation in perpetuity and have funds generated for philanthropic purposes for generations to come.
