  How many lives have been RUINED by the Organization? Experiences?

  i think that some people deserve to be excommunicated, such as pedophiles.

  but what about the tens of thousands of others that have their life wrenched out from under them by being disfellowshipped?.

  and what about those that have a family member that died because of not receiving a blood transfusion?

  Reniaa, that is such a lame example....if someone applies for a job, and takes it, works it, and and does a great service to the company, they can leave that job, often getting a nice referrence for the NEXT job. That company does not 'shun' them, tell them that if they try to leave or are fired, that they can no longer associate with current employees.

  I was baptized at 18, waaaaay to you to know better...had followed all instruction like the nice little sheep I was, believing it was all for God and I was doing the right thing.

  Even at that young age, I knew something was amiss after just a few years, and just stopped going to meetings. Elders and sisters came to visit and I could never put a finger on why I resented their teachings. All I knew is I wanted Jesus, only Jesus, He was the Way to God and He was always available to me. He never threatened me, and he never punished me. I felt peace with Him and still do.

  My point is many people get involved believing WTS IS the Way to God, and find out that it is the opposite. It is a simple principal of relativity: You can not know a thing without knowing it's opposite.

  Need newest updated info on societys view of Disfellowshiped one

  i have heard from a friend that this most recent assembly had a new publication released that has some info in it discussing the treatment of disfellowshipped ones.

  i know that a new song book was issued out but had not heard of anyother new publications.

  at this time what is the society telling their flock to do pertaining to those disfellowshipped ones.

  Did you see any quotes in there that were directed by Jesus? Why is Paul given such power? Jesus came with His message..His teachings. But yet Paul is given more credence that Jesus. Jesus never said such things. And the headcovering bit is another Paul teaching. Jesus is the Way to the Father, not Paul.

  No grudges here Yiz, thanks! I woke again with the wonderful feeling of gratitude and today I feel like a new life is here. My only condern is for my sisters, whom I wish so much could know this feeling! I wish them both peace.

  Thank you for the warm welcome. I have watched this forum for about a month or so and have learned so much.....mainly I am in good company. I wanted to start a new thread awhile back on another subject, but just haven't got the gumtion yet.

  I have dealt with the shunning quite well because it comes and goes....they never really get too close and refrain from discussing spiritual things as they are taught. That's too bad too. I am not a big Bible person, cannot quote scripture verbatim, but one thing I do know is Jesus came here for a reason, and His teaching are so right. My earnest prayer is that all my thoughts, all my words and all my actions are all from His inspiration and direction. I was second-guessing myself this morning when I started this thread, even though I asked Jesus if I did the right thing by shunning my sisters like they are supposed to shun me just to rid myself of their idiocracies....then I came in here and wrote the thread you are now reading.

  I think I will stick around, I can learn much from all of you and share what I know...whatever that is!

  Yes, they both do, but their only councel will come from the elders who re-enforce the mind-numbing principals of the WT. They do need outside help, but they won't even go that way.

  Heaven, you are right on and I appreciate what you suggest. In fact, that is exactly how I feel. Since THEY are the ones still involved with WT and are not supposed to be associating with me, they both are/were full aware of the boundaries set forth by WT and still continued to associate with me....and it was great for the most part...except when they involve me in their spiffs, and then chastise me for not belonging to God's Holy Organization! They'd tell me how sad they are for me, and they love me and want me to come to the Truth so we can all share in everlasting life! I tell them I am not coming back to KH and WT. I already feel very secure with my relationship with Goid without their teachings.

  As of recently, one sister has just become rude, arrogant and selfish, belittling me in every way possible and telling me I don't know anything about the WTS and the Organization, and that I don't even know her. Maybe that is true...I don't kow her....anymore. She has turned mean and hateful. She is the one who hates the other sister with obsession. Mind you, she has a delightful, wonderful side that I adore....she is capable of such kindness and helpfulness, and I love that about her. Both I should say are that way....until they turn on me....or each other. I can't take that anymore!!!

  I have done that and was accused of blaspheming God's Holy organization. I pointed out the United Nations alliance and that really rocked their boat.

  No, I have no grudges at all. I have forgiven them both many times for their iniquities, and I do believe that bad assocoation spoils useful habits. I can no longer associate with either of them, for it disrupts and stresses me beyond my tolerance now. I forgive them, for they know not what they do.

  After all these years, the two of them are still 'in' and I have been 'out' over 25 years. Neither of them could ever get along and I always played mediator. They fight and disagree on EVERYTHING! One sister hates the other so bad she is obsessed by it! Worse yet, they try to get me to side with them..... UGH!!!
  
  They have tried every so often to get me to come back to the organization, but I won't. We have often spoken, eaten, laughed and shared many good times over the years despite the fact they are not supposed to associate with me. I have loved them both dearly.
  
  One sister who lives close by has recently turned cold and resentful, being short and rude to me. (I know, she is 'supposed' to be, but this time she is really doing a good job!) Just prior to this, the other sister who lives away from here was highly offended at my blatant dislike of the WT organization and quit talking to me. So neither are talking to me....because I am turning on them the way they are to turn on me. I told BOTH of them to not speak with me except concerning strictly family matters, that I did not want to see them or talk with them.
  
  I am doing to them the same thing their organization tells them to do to me. I cut them off. Both sisters have dumped their drama and caused me much pain over the years, and I cannot trust either of them.
  
  I told them both at lest now they DO have ONE thing in common...hating me.
  
  So I cut them off. What would Jesus have done? Your thoughts please.
