Another visit from the elders
by jonno12225 inso i have another visit from the elder this week.
this time they want to speak with my wife, still a believer and myself.
i think they want to know my position about my children attending the meetings and some other things.. while preparing myself for it i though of a challenge for the elders and my wife.

Ask them to read George Orwell 1984 better still buy the book and give it to them as a present.

Satanism In Britain?
by metatron inthe express (in england) is reporting that jimmy savile was a satanist and performed such rituals involving children while being allowed to molest them without arrest or interference.. look, i have been very skeptical about these "ritual abuse " accusations - downright disbelieving, in fact.
are going to believe that david icke was right all along?
good grief.... i do know that churchill was accused of being a druid quite seriously, decades ago.

Would Elders You Knew Have Ordered Stonings If They Could Have?
by Cold Steel infor those of you who used to be jws, or who are active, if the society was in charge of the earth, how many people do you think you would have seen stoned during your lifetimes?
i realize some elders can be zealous about their work, but if they'd actually had administrative authority to have kh members stoned to death, how many elders did you know who would have been zealous enough to really order them?.
did you know any elders who would have ordered stonings, even if the condemned people had been willing to repent?.

Anyone Else See Les Miserables?
by BizzyBee ini went to see it today - by myself (mr bee is on a golf junket).
i was glad that that i was by myself because i cried so much at the end, i wouldn't have wanted to be with anyone who wasn't crying - and that would not have been mr bee!.
les miserables the current film is adapted from what is considered one of the half-dozen greatest novels of the past 150 years and one of the longest novels ever written.

I am Borghaters mum, I cant remember my user password so using hers. We are both crushed and in pain at this sad news, Oompa ( Eric ) was really kind to me when I first came on this forum, he helped me through some tough times and pm'd me many times with advice and comforting helpful words and advice.
We will never forget him and he will be sorely missed, he always had a cheerful word and was ready with a kind word even when he was going through his recovery after the accident.
We are also sending a card to let his boys know how much he will be missed and how we were touched by his kindess and support when we needed it even when he was going through his own pain.
We miss you Eric.
