Very sad to hear. Keep in mind right after the convention is when your mom would be under the most influence to "make a stand". Contrary to the WT advice, these strong-arm tactics do not bring lost loved-ones running back in to the embrace of the society!

Lots of evangelicals believe there will be a new earth, but it is renewed for the people living on earth at the time. All other Christians go to heaven.
I have annoyed hubby no end by telling him the Witnesses can have the earth and the rest of Christendom can have heaven.
three months ago i had to stop driving my car.
it wouldn't pass inspection and it would cost about $3k to get it up to par.. well, it's a 98 honda accord with about 179 thousand miles on it, what did i expect?.
.. i decided i would switch to riding a bicycle instead.. it has worked out fairly well.. i put about 10 miles a day on it.
This sucks big time.
My son's primary mode of transport is his bike. He takes his seat in with him to the store. Or a seat and a tire.

we met them when i was a christian and we have kept in touch.
they had a few other friends there as well, including the new church pastor and his wife.
