Sooooo. We are all members of the body of Christ, no member is above another, standing "shoulder to shoulder", but only a FEW of us (less and less every year) can taste the wine and eat the blood in rememberance of Him, and only a FEW MORE of us have the priveledge of public prayer. And Jehovah is deaf to the prayers and entreaties of 99% of his creation.
I just did a word search on priveledge. Nothing. Nada. Tried honour. Yes, but we are not to honour one brother above another. Mary did NOTHING but sit at Jesus' feet and listen. She was not reproved. At least not by Jesus. Is Jehovah going to be "pleased" with a faifhful gatekeeper who has effectively cut off direct communication to Him? I am SO tempted to swear.
have you noticed the watchtower's slow drift into another self-destructive trap of their own design?

the opinions will generally come from two camps: the society will never die because there will always be ones willing to write a mental "blank check"and embrace "god" through his "orginization".the society will prosper because it is god's orginzation in our times.. .

The WTS won't produce anything of this calibre, because they would have to give up a measure of control. The NWT is not available online. I can't highlight or do decent searches on their CD. This org-run-by-committee moves too slowly to be able to rapidly change their delivery style.
I don't think the org is equipped to deal with this multimedia age. Or this multimedia-savvy generation.

Thanks, Scully. I often wondered why my honey is so hesitant to pray. Considering the amount of work that is put in to teach recruits to evangelize, reference scripture, and public speaking, it is astounding to me that they are not taught to pray. The poor sheep are not even "good enough" to bleat for their master, huh? Oh, I forgot. Good witnesses are to run to the elders for spiritual guidance. Lord help them all.
