  @NonCoinCollector That's another thing he clearly isn't spending any money there. I guess they told him that focusing on just 7 would rehabilitate his image? Maybe they suggested he do public outreach by suggesting that AltWorldly and Andrew Gold were simply manipulated in all this? Come on.

  @Simon. At that point, that's all that the money will before. He probably paid his lawyer around €2k if even that. I think his lawyer probably did him a favor as a long-term client. He paid that amount solely to save face. He keeps pulling his attention back to himself. How can a marriage possibly withstand someone that needs this much attention? His behavior has always been rinse and repeat, the problem for him now is that he came up against a force and culture that creates a problematic consequence for him. From his own words he seemed addicted to paying for sex. Addicts will do anything, like paying €2k to only save face.

  @Dagney if it is a civil suit he has lost right out of the gate. The law in Croatia states that the court with jurisdiction is where the harm was committed for non-citizens. He can't file a suit non-residents of Croatia.

  It is the courthouse. I said this on twitter but I suspect what he is actually doing is making a "complaint" asking the government to open an inquiry. His problem is that according to Croatian law when criminal proceedings are filed the jurisdiction lands with where the crime was committed. For Lloyd, that means the crime would be so egregious they could convince, the UK or the US hold court proceedings. Then a special act has to be made for the sentencing. So for this to move forward 2 countries would have to agree to use tax euros/pounds/dollars for a bloggers hurt feelings. Oh, the kicker is that under Croatian law if you can't afford a lawyer one will be appointed to you. So now they have to pay for at least some legal fees on a case that would be weak at best (and that's being generous).
  
  Lloyd is going to file the complaint and claim it's with the law and now his hands are tied. He can just keep claiming it's being worked on. Then in a few months make some fake disappointed video saying how the authorities decided not to pursue the case because violent crime is up there so they just don't have time... but they said they will look into it when things slow down. Bet.

  I didn't think Andrew did too bad of job. I think he used a bit of soft gloves on him but he also let Lloyd hang himself with his own rope. Many non ex-jws will see straight through Lloyd and this could bring more public blowback on him. This was a horrible PR move on his part, but no shock there.

  This interview was a disaster. Lloyd refused to acknowledge the issue of prostitutes and sex trafficking/abuse. He also admitted he "dated" a prostitute in Thailand. This was a really really really dumb move by him. Especially going on to someone's show that knows very little about Lloyd. His Patreon will take another hit because of this.

  @Tibor did Lloyd understand that if he publically told people part of the funds he raised were going to support his habit of seeing prostitutes that he wouldn't raise as much funding? Did he understand that when he admitted his habit of seeing prostitutes that he was going to lose Patreon supporters?

  I want to throw in my experiance of Eric. A few years ago I ran an ex JW meetup group here in Charlotte, NC. At the time my screenname was burgertime (I was banned for awhile). Anyways Eric contacted me about coming to the meetup. I gave him directions and he showed up. I would explain Eric as a force to be reakoned with. He had ton of energy and was a very happy go lucky guy on the surface.

  Just to tell you what kind of guy Eric was, at the time I didn't own a vehicle I took the bus or walked everywhere. The place we were meeting was a ten minute walk from my house. Well Eric met me at my house at the time and had non of it. He forced me to ride "bitch" on his motorcycle. He then asked if I wanted a moped since he owned a store that sold them. I said sure, and that I would pay for it. He argued that I shouldn't pay for it and I argued back that I should. We came to a deal that I would pay what he paid which was around $400. To be honest I figured he was just talking to be talking and trying to be nice but would never follow through. Well two weeks later he shows up with a brand new Scooter in tow to drop off. He told me I could pay him whatever for however long it took. To say I was shocked didn't quite put into words how I felt. That same day he dropped off my scooter I gave him my copies of In Search of Christian Freedom, Apocalypse Delayed and Crisis of Concious so I like to think it was a fair trade lol. Anyways I paid the scooter off in like a months time and I hung out with Eric another time outside of that. He was someone who cared very little about himself and wanted nothing but to please everyone.
  
  All that being said, looking back I can see that he probably suffered from being bi-polar or more than likely was manic depressive. My Dad was diagnosed bi-polar and him and Eric are very similiar, though again my guess would probably be manic. When that is a factor it's no wonder he was pushed over the edge. I don't think the WTBS is totally to blame but again it's obviously a major factor...if nothing else I'm sure it stopped him from getting help when he should have which would have been early on in his life.
  
  I haven't talked to Eric since probably 3 years ago, but I'll always remember him. So here's to you my wild friend. Hopefully whever you are you're riding your motorcycle and having a laugh.
