  It’s all about appearances to him. He’s getting off on calling the M7 defendants and uses that term and “criminally prosecuted” as a way to slander them and scare off critics at the same time. He’s deluded enough to think a conviction is likely, but failing that, I agree that having that case open for some time also works in his favour.
  

  Honestly, I think it's worse than that. I truly believe (no evidence here) that Lloyd was told by his legal team that the only thing he could do was put something in the system and this would at least allow him to save some face. I think he fully understands it will go nowhere this is just all PR. He has to look like he is committed otherwise it all falls apart. Kind of the Costanza it's not a lie if you believe it, but of course, it's still a lie.

  I said from the start that Lloyd’s legal team likely told him this would go nowhere but it was something he could do. I have no ill will towards them. They saw an easy legal way to make some cash and again I’m 100% sure they told Lloyd it would go nowhere.
  All Lloyd wants to do is run out the clock. Keep it in the system long enough that people forget about it and it looks like a victory.
  I did a deep dive into the Croatian law and there’s many factors why it’s a stupid case. Any court case would have to take place where the M7 lives. For instance I live in the Netherlands but am an American citizen. First a judge here would have to rule if the Netherlands would even have jurisdiction to hold the case.
  The thing about criminal cases is that the prosecution only goes after cases that are slam dunks or are a weak case but there is public pressure to pursue. Like it’s laughable to think any public prosecutor would look at this case and think it’s worth pursuing.
  Oh this doesn’t even take into account the laws around libel etc.. give even more protection to the defendants if what’s being discussed is “newsworthy” or the person being talked about is a public figure.

  Don't forget Kim offered for him to come to Australia and have a free place to stay etc.. IIRC. One would think if they needed a break from things going to see a non-judgemental friend and getting some R&R would be more than welcome. He decided instead to go to Thailand alone. Either way, he said it himself in those texts. It was a trip to go be single and have fun. The problem he had with his mental was that Dijana wouldn't let him bone everything that moved.
  
  I'm not of the opinion he went exclusively for sex tourism. I think it was partying and sex tourism. It's laughable to think a guy who sees sex workers on a regular basis wouldn't be aware of the sex trade there or want to engage in it.

  @Tonas I also think you're correct. He could probably bluff his way into a decent job as a content creator or content manager for a larger corporate making decent money but the minute his past comes up? Goodbye job. He had a good thing he could have parlayed into something possibly better. At some point, he is going to need to be dependent on Dijana again and he's probably realizing that. That would explain the posts of him going from Instagram model stan to happy father.

  It's hard for me to judge Dijana. Sometimes people get brainwashed in relationships too and you add kids into the mix it becomes even more difficult to untangle. Even when obvious things are staring you in the face. I once dated a woman who stayed in an abusive toxic relationship for years. She came from a good loving family but due to self-esteem issues and some other trauma, she gravitated to that type of guy and then got locked in. She didn't want to stay, but she felt trapped. Eventually, she had her breaking point and left the loser but it took a long time and that was without kids involved.
  
  It could be the same for Dijana. Dependence is a hell of thing and it seems her and the kids have gotten used to a lifestyle that largely depends on him. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and hoping that she eventually sees the light and cuts off communication to only when its needed for the kids.

  @TonusOH....more than likely it wasn't dating at all as you said, he just had to come up with something he knows no one can truly verify in order to avoid the association of seeing sex workers in Thailand. That's the thing, if he used a service then no way he can claim he was dating. The only way he could "date" a sex worker in the context he uses it in, is if he talked to her online in advance of going to Thailand. His body language and tone when talking to Andrew Gold made me think maybe he believes he actually did. Would also maybe explain that cringy "younger women showing interest" in him line he gave his wife.

  @LMSA I think the question that needs to be asked is how does one meet a sex worker in a country they have never been to in order to date in the first place? I'd love to hear his mental gymnastics on that one. I almost think he found a sex-worker online to meet up with in Thailand and then he was acting as her sugar daddy. The way he said it on Andrew Gold sounded more like a brag. He's so deluded he would fall for it and see it as "dating". When I first heard that interview I was shocked because it made no sense at all to say it... unless you were proud of it and saw it as some big accomplishment. Like the middle-aged guy who starts dating the local stripper and just has to tell everyone.

  I really do have a life. I spend most of my day working on my own business. A business that has nothing to do with JWs or JW activism. I might spend 1 hour a week total at most posting or thinking about LE. However, I'm also one of the litigants he is trying to file criminal charges on so this literally affects my life. I'm thankful that people are still calling out his bad actions and if for some reason the case moves forwards my fellow defendants will have a stronger case.

  Sorry, I guess what I meant was he didn't have a real career that lasted years. For most of his "career" it's been around family outside of the odd job here and there. Then he moves to Croatia and is forced to live with his in-laws which screams to me there was no money. Then he gets traction on YouTube. That's about the timeline right?

  There was so much to unpack in his video when you break it down. It's why the live stream I did ended up being hours long. Having gone through it minute by minute my takeaway was that he honestly believed he did nothing wrong. He thought he was a superstar and that the majority of people especially liberals would be open-minded and think seeing prostitutes was cool.
  

  I think you're exactly right. He got exposed, and in a panic he went into spin mode. He was clever enough to know he had to do some sort of statement but then thought if he took it head-on and owned it, it would be better for him. Keep in mind in the background all of this is going on while he is defying his wife's wishes and in his mind probably just had an amazing sex vacation in Thailand.
  
  With that mindset, thinking you're a superstar, likely being a sex addict, on substances and telling your wife to take a hike while getting to the total freedom to sleep around on vacation he thought this was going to be slam dunk. It was a delusion and afterward reality set in.
