He is in a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation but I think it's actually worse for him to go this route. He risks a judge having to review the case. Imagine her watching his confession/apology video and him validating the claims she made. The claims she didn't make but he implied she made was on Thailand. No where did she say he visited a sex worker. This leaves the other claim about him being divisive the only claim that he could claim is defamatory. One link here to the original post shows that it also was not defamatory. Please for the love god Lloyd why couldn't you just take the L??

I believe #6 is claiming that the M7 made claims that he made all his content in one day. As some sort of defamation campaign that because he made it in a day he was grifting his audience out money claiming it takes a long time to make. Again, his problem is he never showed any evidence to the contrary even if someone made the claim or legit believed it. The majority of his claims he showed no evidence to the defense any of these were an actual lie. I'm sure he'll try to rope in that I made claims he was a smut peddler. The problem again for him his once I found the evidence JLE wasn't him I apologized for it and set the record straight.
That's another problem for him. Many of the M7 actually swatted down lies and defended him. Something that doesn't work for his 'they were out to ruin me" tactic.

Not sure how it works in Croatia but in most of the civilized world in order for defamation or libel to be proved you have to prove the person you're suing knowingly told a lie with intent to harm. As in, saw overwhelming evidence that what they were saying was untrue and still said it. His whole defense is "my word against theirs". The problem is that he will have to prove to a judge his word is good enough. The sum of a trial would be a lawyer showing numerous times that Lloyd lied so therefore his word can't be taken seriously.
There really isn't much to the case other than the two key questions before a judge. First being, do the defendants have reasonable cause to believe Lloyd was seeing prostitutes in Thailand? Well, he himself admitted to using prostitutes for years. he admitted to "dating" a "sex worker" in Thailand. I think most judges would find it reasonable for many to assume that yes he in fact did use a prostitute in Thailand. With that, it's also perfectly reasonable to speculate that any prostitute used may have been trafficked. It's now up to HIM to prove all these are not true in order for anyone to be found guilty of defamation or libelous.The second is if Lloyd is a "public figure" so therefore, defendants are immune from criminal liability due to the extremely high bar that comes with that. It would be easy to argue that this sort of talk is protected as "free speech" (Croatia has a carve-out specifically for this). Lloyd can't claim he makes money as a public figure and therefore is entitled to X and then claim he isn't a public figure so should fall under the laws for a private figure.
It won't go to court but if it did I think his biggest issue would be Dijana. I think that has been his biggest fear all along. She knows all the secrets. Get her in a deposition and watch how fast Lloyd would likely drop the case. I suspect that is why he kept playing really bad defense on this trying to get ahead of it. He knows Dijana talked.

@LMSA regarding suicide etc... I think most narcissists will figure out a way to justify to themselves the situation they created. Either through blame or some form of delusion. It's tricky because we don't really know what is actually in his mind. It feels a bit tacky even discussing it just in case but, to me it def feels like these are just manipulation tactics. Dude feeds off of self aggrandizing and drama so long as the spotlight moves to him. Just screams to me someone who plays the depressed game without ever living it.

That open mic cut was incredible. Lloyd can't go two minutes with out having to bring up something sex related. This is so cringe it's insane. How tone-deaf can one man be?? Like 99% of the people who google him and read about the "apology" will get heavy creep vibes from any of these jokes. Hmm... my personal belief is he doesn't seem that unhinged. To kill your kids is pretty out there. I also don't think he'd kill himself. There is a big difference between clinical depression and narcissistic personality disorder. Wild armchair psychologist speculation here (from someone with no expertise) but people who are actually depressed aren't likely to go off to holiday in an exotic local going on dates.
My guess is he'll probably always have a small cult like following who will keep the rent paid. He'll have to take a part-time job doing...something... and he'll get a young girlfriend who leaves him after a year or two. All while he continues to see sex workers cause you can bet that probably never stopped. -

Here is my conspiracy for the day that I have no evidence for. Just wild speculation. Lloyd is shutting things down because Dijana is suing him for custody/support and he’s trying to get ahead of it. He has to freeze and move his assets so he can claim to be poor to the court. This reeks of “good timing” if she is divorcing him proper. There is no reason to turn off the tap other than it hurts you in the short term to have the revenue.
I’m also curious if he’ll get a cease and desist in the mail and will have to pull that YouTube video. He’s playing a dangerous game with that especially since he directly monetized it.
Chef’s kiss if he is getting sued by Dijana who will no doubt use his video and internet history against him AND at the same time getting sued for defamation for leaking something supposedly told to him in confidence.
This guy is the MVP of hypocrisy.

The problem for Lloyd being the one to break "secondhand" news is that he is also accused of being a pedophile by "secondhand" sources. If I'm the JWs and the press asks me about this I'd rightfully say that the person making the accusations has himself been accused of grooming and sexually abusing someone underage. Without any real evidence, this actually hurts the cause because of the source of information.
If he was thinking of someone other than himself and actually cared about the cause he would have channeled it through someone who had an untarnished record.
He can't have it both ways. He can't say when it comes to him all secondhand stories should not be believed because they are secondhand. But, when it comes to his secondhand information about someone else it should 100% believed.
