Sorry, I guess what I meant was he didn't have a real career that lasted years. For most of his "career" it's been around family outside of the odd job here and there. Then he moves to Croatia and is forced to live with his in-laws which screams to me there was no money. Then he gets traction on YouTube. That's about the timeline right?

There was so much to unpack in his video when you break it down. It's why the live stream I did ended up being hours long. Having gone through it minute by minute my takeaway was that he honestly believed he did nothing wrong. He thought he was a superstar and that the majority of people especially liberals would be open-minded and think seeing prostitutes was cool.

I think you're exactly right. He got exposed, and in a panic he went into spin mode. He was clever enough to know he had to do some sort of statement but then thought if he took it head-on and owned it, it would be better for him. Keep in mind in the background all of this is going on while he is defying his wife's wishes and in his mind probably just had an amazing sex vacation in Thailand.

With that mindset, thinking you're a superstar, likely being a sex addict, on substances and telling your wife to take a hike while getting to the total freedom to sleep around on vacation he thought this was going to be slam dunk. It was a delusion and afterward reality set in.

@Kim I know we talked a lot about this but it's just so crazy how full of himself he was. In a sense he was a "rockstar" among many ex-jws but it amazes me how he thought this would translate in to him getting away with acting stupid. Especially when a lot of ex-jws (though this is changing) tend to be older and lean more conservatively. Most of the problem is he never worked in the real world. He never had to work in an office and understand the sociodynamics of professional relationships. His entire career has been only hanging around other hanger-oners. So is it any wonder he assumed you would be like everyone else in his life he hasn't excluded? Just crazy.

He probably has nothing to worry about there. First the law against prostitution there is rarely enforced. Second, even if you admit to a crime in most places you still need an actual victim to be prosecuted. I could say I robbed a bank but until someone finds a bank that's been robbed and can tie me to it I would never be convicted. Of course, if he was an actual high-profile person in Croatia someone might step forward or be found but in his case, there's little chance. He's extremely lucky to be in Croatia though cause if he was in the UK or say the US it would probably take very little sleuthing to track down a sex-worker he's interacted with.

I think part of why he could have told may have also been for damage control. Dijana had caught him and was now pissed. My guess is he figured she would talk. He thought he could get Kim and producer Bob on his side. Assuming if the women working with him didn't care he could stop it from getting out of hand. I honestly believe he 100% thought he was a rock star. He really reminds me of a roommate I had who was a total incel and "nice guy" that thought he was god's gift to humanity. I have some many insane cringe stories living with that guy. Lloyd has got to be just as bad.

It's freaking hilarious that he claims people should let him vent and be angry...then has the nerve to ask when he didn't let this happen with others. He went even further. He wouldn't even let people who were simply sympathetic to Kim speak to him.

Newly Enlightened I tried to find the case but couldn't find anything on it. I'm guessing this person was going beyond just asking questions. There's a difference between cart crashing/harassment and recording an interaction, an interaction that could easily be construed as investigative by someone who could claim they're a member of the media.

I think a much better question is what exactly is he trying to accomplish? This was just a stunt hoping he could increase viewership. I wouldn't be surprised if he tries to cop rebellion extinctions gimmick but as an ex-jw in hopes he can reinvent himself. Would explain him going to the ER event.

Posted on twitter about this but Lloyd likely broke no laws with his recording of JWs. It's perfectly legal to video tape the public where there is no expectation of privacy i.e. a public sidewalk or train station. Furthermore, you can also record someone without their consent, and journalists are even more protected if you make those recordings public. As much as it may pain some on here he can easily make this claim. While I doubt any court in the UK would side with the JWs, why in the world would anyone here want that? As much as I dislike the man if a court sides with the JWs it would have a chilling effect not only on how legit journalists could report on JWs it would have a chilling effect on how anyone could report on a dangerous cult.

I think the whole grooming/CSA allegations are a pointless rabbit hole to go down right now. Even if you could prove the emails are real (as in an actual email) it doesn't mean anything. You need a witness to the crime. Even if Dijana said that lloyd admitted such or some other person made this claim you would still need the victim. If it is real it's likely to be a dead end until the actual victim comes out.

I have some suspicions about all this anyways. One big flag for me was how Mark O'Donnel's statement was written and how Leah Remini handled the allegations. It was as if they had seen hard evidence that the allegations weren't real. This would make sense if the allegations were fabricated and Lloyd could prove they were.

Call it a conspiracy or whatever but I think either Lloyd or someone close to Lloyd wanted to prove how his "haters" would take anything and run with it. So they "leaked" this story and then shared what they did with Lloyd. He realized most wouldn't believe it since no victim existed and it died on its own. What that scammer went after Mark, Cora, Mikey and Kim that sealed it for me.

Why wouldn't Lloyd publicly come out with the info? If his fingerprints are actually on it that could hurt him. So keeping it lowkey works better. It makes his "haters" look like frothers. The more exposure the evidence its fake gets the closer it could tie Lloyd to it so he could have a reason to keep it in a tight group.

If it is real no one will know until the victim comes out of the woodwork and likely only the police will be ever to track that victim down.

As others have pointed out this shows how terrible his work ethic is. I was contributing to an artist I liked on Patreon. She had monthly calls. It didn't matter if 1 or ten showed up. She did them every month because that's what was promised. Even if it's just one fan you still owe them what they paid for and were promised.

As for Lloyd demanding that the IISCA release the database. Would they have even had the legal authority to do that without some protracted drawn out court case? I get pushing that this should be something that gets codified into law but he seems to think they could just snap their fingers and religious orgs would hand over everything. Very on brand for Lloyd.

It’s clear he has no clue how governments work given this and his own lawsuit against us. It seems the only thing he has actually spent time researching is prostitutes and JWs.
