this came up on another thread i started, but think it desrves it's own, as it is a complete revelation to me.. .

the mild-tempered ones are happy because they will inherit the earth.

The errors of the WT are relatively benign compared to the mass of BS the world has been fed.

The WT spouts enormous heaps of BS but its sphere of influence is relatively small. It does however have an enormous impact on those few, much of it is detrimental to them leading a meaningful and fulfilled life and can put their lives at risk. Think of the 1000's who have died the WTS because they have refused life saving medical treatment. Think of the Bros's and Sisters in Malawi who were persecuted unnecessarily, because of an arbitary decision by the GB. That makes the error of the WTS dangerous and not benign.

i would be interested in your opinion of the following:.

a friend told me about an incident that had happened in a neighbouring congregation.

she told me that a sister from the congregation needed to get back to work after a meeting but discovered that she was boxed in.

Flipper, I agree there is a definite us and them mentality within the organisation. The R&F feel they are better than worldly people. The pioneers and Elders feel they are better than the R&F. The CO's and DO's are better than the Elders and the GB are gods offical spokesmen so they are better than everyone (in fact they are on Par with JC on some matters).

With that attitude from the top down no wonder so many publisher feel worthless and have no self respect.

the "video apostates" are connecting with the jehovah's witnesses.

not only are the witnesses watching these critical videos exposing the wathctower religion, but they are also commenting on them.

many jehovah's witnesses are leaving the organization because of this powerful internet exposure.

anyone who can turn their back on their flesh & blood sons and daughters, mothers and fathers fulfill this prophecy perfectly.. people who do this are utterly unloving & cruel.

it has lead thousands of people to feel issolated, alone & in many cases suicidal.

how can such a thing originate with god?.

So why does it take 1000 years for the great crowd to reach perfection by the FDS are perfect the moment they are ressurected? How is fair? Especially when you consider they are FDS only because the time period in which they were born (except of course the magically annointed 50 somethings on GB). I still say MR e-watchman, that is is a crock of crap.
