There is an Octoberfest every year, and at this particular fest on Sturday evening I seen many JW's @ the beer tent, then the following Sunday morning no one had comments for the WT study. The elder kept giving speech's for weeks on how to study, and be prepaired for WT studies like no one knew how to study. I don't think he ever knew that nearly everyone was @ the beer tent that eve.

shepherding visits.....were they?

we have friends who say that they have had some awful shepherdings,the things theyve been told in them were far from encouraging.. we havent ever had one so to be honest i cant comment...but would love to know if you had one?

were they regular and were they ever encouraging?

I don't know where to start, I have expeirenced nearly eveything mentioned so far, and it bothers me too much to think about it, but the thing that bothered me the most is they never come around me unless they want something, or to drowned the seeds before they can grow.

What's the difference between a Muslim Suicide bomber and a Jehovah's Witness?

i would say just the bomb!.

one case involved a teenage muslim girl with burn scars on her face....her bomb failed to detonate so she clawed at her face in frustration...she was hoping to end her pain by going to "paradise" to be perfect.

witnesses claim if the die due to lack of blood or due to nuetrality it's okay!

For just a moment there I thought you were going to say Muslim Suicide bomber makes physical scars that you can see, but Jehovah's Witness make scars on your heart mind, and soul.

Deleting private records

i just had a weird thought.

in my country there's a law (i think some similar exists in most countries) that any organization, society, entity can only keep record of private nature about a person / entity if he/she/it gives its explicit consent to do so, and that consent can be revoked at any time by the person.

so whenever i participate in a product related raffle for example, there is always a legalese text asking whether i give my consent that the data given by me to be stored by the company and used for further promotional offers - agreeing is not necessary for the participation in the raffle.

JW's are from medievil days a bunch of witch hunters, and I never did give them permission to collect, save, or share informtion about me, and follow me to other cities.
