  I went to twitter, checked the web address behind the name: www.jw.org. Then went to the watchtower official website, followed one of their links, which took me to www.jw.org. So, I gues it's legit (at least ast legit as WTS gets).

  Just had JW come to the door to invite me to memorial

  this is the first time that i ever refused to go the memorial.

  usually i make excuses or fall back on the 'maybe'.

  in fact, i have never stated an opinion that differs with anything that a jw at my door says.

  2. this may be just my problem, since i couldn't find anything when searching.. is any one else having problems with accessing channel c?

  i used my bookmark and at first i got the home page, but 'page not found' when i tried to go to the forum.

  Is any one else having problems with accessing Channel C? I used my bookmark and at first I got the home page, but 'page not found' when I tried to go to the forum. Now I can't even get the home page. The last post I read, IIRC, was about Jim Peyton's wife being hospitalized

  Side issue of the 144k: Parable wheat and weeds. Per CO, wheat = 144k, weeds = imitation Christians. Where, then, by their own explanation do the 'great crowd' come in? That field only had the two, either the plant was wheat or a weed.

  i was excited as i flipped thru my copy of the 2010 yearbook of jehovah's witlesses - as i wanted to get to the (dubious) statistics presented therein and, to my amazement, what did i find?.

  you see, while the glorious grand poohbahs and masters of time and space (are the 144,000 time lords like dr.

  ) honestly report negative publisher 'gains' for tiny islands ( that saw a decrease because 2 or 3 gilead grads got amoebic dysentery and had to leave to 'take care of their elderly relatives' or some other 'god, get me out of this hellhole' excuse) they now leave a blank space for denmark, czech republic and so on.
