  Friendship with the opposite sex

  i have to ask a personal questions.

  do you think it is ok to have a friendship with someone of the opposite sex if you are in a serious relationship or married?

  nothing intimate just friendship.

  I think this is an interesting question...and some of the responses have stated that it would be ok as long as both partners were in agreement. What if one feels uncomfortable with the situation?

  for the last 13 years, we haven't attended and didn't even care about it.

  but since we became card carrying members of jwn in september, we have an interest in what are friends here on jwn are doing.. for us?

  we will be watching 'dancing with the stars'.

  Not much...Tuesday nights is one of the few nights of the week me and my wife can relax at home. So we'll have dinner, and then it's chill time!

  The generation of witnesses I came from wasnt as indoctrinated as the one before it. Folks are going college and questioning more...and it's causing many to see the real 'truth'.

  "not a good example"

  i have a concern i guess or just want to vent.

  my husband and i - as most of you know - we're married just a little under 2 months and you all know at that point i was still "active" in the org.

  we had a few issues with our bridal party - namely the groom - cuz according to them he wasnt a good example and not in good status because they hadn't seen him at the meetings or in service for like 2 months.

  I do know how things work, and i was expecting this news.

  Oh well...just a lil upset cause he's my brother and he was my best man. But to each his own. Im no longer upset. Atleast i'm still invited.

  Celebrated my first Halloween

  as you know i recently started my fade while my husband has been doing it for years.

  well last weekend i decided we should celebrate halloween and bought tickets to this halloween cruise.

  GGG - I tried that, while we still married, and that didnt go over well. She tells me that nothing will ever convince her that this isn't the truth. Thanks for understanding though...

  Gayle - I have a feeling that when the girls get their choice, they will not be JW...but to have them suffer through the indoctrination now, that's what upsets me. Thanks for the well wishes...

  Heartbreaker, they are young (3, 5). i definitely will keep the arrangement we have, and since i cant control what she does with them at her house, trust me i will be doing my best to teach them to think for themselves at mine.

  But yes, i am here for my daughters.
