  This is from Wikipedia:

  In September 2010, Emerson released a message stating: "During a routine medical examination, a colonoscopy revealed a rather dangerous polyp in my lower colon. It is the conclusion of the doctors here in London that I must undergo surgery immediately. Unfortunately, the timing of this urgent surgery does not allow me to start touring in early October because of the required period of hospitalization and recuperation. I must remain optimistic that all will turn out well".[21]

  Emerson died on 10 March 2016 in Santa Monica, California of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.[22]

  as a result of his inspired utterance, i received a flash of insight that has allowed me to predict with uncanny accuracy the exact date for armageddon's arrival.

  if jw`s come knocking at your door, do you open it & engage in conversation, tell them to sod off, or just not answer the door?.

  my husband`s has asked me not to answer the door to them if he isn't here?

  he hate`s the fact that they make a point of calling when they know he will be at work.

  i was browsing through stuff on jw.org recently and ran across some expressions that really grate on my nerves: loyal love, loving-care, and loving-kindness, as in: "please exercise loving-kindness toward your servant.

  " who talks like that?

  alot of members don't have a flag or country name beside their user name, and well frequently one doesn't know where that particular person is from, tell us your country, state, county or what ever you feel like giving out.

  if you are going to post please at least devulge your country.. me, i'm originally from taranaki, new zealand via auckland.

  for the most of this decade i have been living & working in brisbane, queensland, australia.. .

  New here, never baptised (thank god)!

  just signed up and wanted to introduce myself.

  i had 1 x-mas and 1 birthday before both my parents joined the jw's around 1966 or 67 being 1 year old i don't remember them (the holidays), to this day holidays are nothing to me (thanks jw's).

  i never really believed the bible or jw literature.
