23Happy 9th Birthday to my baby....just look at you now!!!
by LyinEyes innine years ago today,,,,,,,my last baby was born , only to have been told for 3 weeks that he would not live but a few hours if that.
he had so many problems , and i had the best doctors working with me trying to save my life and his,,,,,,,still the news was the same everyday.......they said he wouldnt make it and they were sorry.
they told me to pic a name out for my baby boy, so that when the time came, arrangements could be made.

Update on my Mom
by SheilaM inthunder called my sister today and she said the doctor said it would be as little as 48 hours before my mom passed away.
i am perplexed as to why they were giving her pain medication when she had no brain waves.
i do have to say that my two dysfunctional siblings are always able to hurt me even when i am not there.

Do you have friends in different age groups?
by JH inwhatever your age, do you make friends and hang out only with people your age or will you hang around with people much older or much younger than you?.
mentally i must be quite young, because i love to hang around with people 10 to 15 years younger than me.. .
i never hang around with older than me, and rarely with people my age.

Taming of a Beast (Long post)

it was back in 1993, the last day of work before christmas.
70 of us were laid off that day (after 6 months notice), and left at lunch, never to go back.

I'm so tired (vent)
by Billygoat ini guess i just need to vent a little, so i hope you don't mind me coming here.
some of you know i started a new job this past march with a pharmaceutical company.
it's just a temporary position with the schedule having me become permanent in december.

A bright spot has gone...

she died peacefully in her sleep.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE BLACKOUT!

i had just left work shortly after 4:00pm on thursday, and we were in the elevators when suddenly everything went black!!
thank god there were only 4 of us in the elevator, but just the same, after about 10 minutes, we started getting scared and yelling for help (i work on the 15th floor).
