  life has been busy, but i am now on 2 weeks vacation which allowed me some thinking room.

  and here's what's been on my mind.. we're all going to die.

  i don't have a great reference point on my observation other than my local area but i was wondering if this was a widespread thing.

  ... in the last two years in my former congregation there have been 6 people to disassociate for "apostasy," 6 disfellowshipped for various reasons, and numerous ones reproved.

  these are just the ones i have heard about.

  geoffrey jackson will attempt to df them all, shun them, take away their privileges, write a wt article on them, have the elders talk to them, their family cut off ties with them, read them watchtower articles, tell them they need to submit at least 10 hours per month etc... .

  then, the "oh shit" look on his face moment when he realizes he has no power outside of his pinky ring club.

  also another wordly pastime is Freerice.com its a website owned by the world food programe a united nations charity and its got lots of different subjects basic maths spanish english and you choose the subject that you want so in basic maths you would get a question like 2x6= and a chouce of four answers if you get the answer right the sponsors pay for 10 grains of rice that the WFP's own people take to many different parts of the world,of course because people all over the world are playing it mounts up to many millions of grains of rice per day all for free and of course people and children learn as well.If you go on youtube you can see what NBC news has to say about Freerice.com

  in todays news from australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, justice mcclellan from the australian royal commission on child sex abuse will officially summon brother geoffrey jackson to the stand after all.. ..... the commission was due to conclude its hearings into the jehovahs witnesses on wednesday but justice mcclellan said he will now call geoffrey jackson, a senior member of the churchs governing body in new york who is currently in australia, to appear next week.. .

  If the GB had any sense they would stop shunning not only because its totally evil and nasty but it would get rid of people that didnt want to be JWs but didnt want to have to go through shunning and also if lots of people left it would help in selling kingdom halls off the global borg empire will still be there even if they sell off 10 or 20,000 kingdom halls
