  45 Minute Bethel Video about Changes (downsizing) at Watchtower

  i don't see this posted elsewhere, and i don't have the links besides this facebook one.. but here is a 45-minute long bethel talk about the changes at bethel including addressing the hard feelings of people who were given the axe.

  basically, everything must change.

  we gave remaining bethelites saturday off to do our bidding in "the field" and we give bethelites over 70 an extra day a week off (if you can find any such bethelites).

  This is even with not printing 50 million magazines a month worldwide as well, it sounds to good to be true but i think we might be seeing the last days of the JW empire

  the jehovah’s witnesses appear to have achieved a handshake with their bffs: jared kushner, aby rosen and lvwrk.. the pricing is roughly $700 million for the witnesses’ 733,000-square-foot world headquarters at 25-30 columbia heights and a 1.1-million-square-foot as-of-right development site at 85 jay st.. the same group purchased 1.2 million square feet in dumbo heights for $375 million in 2013 from the witnesses and are now leasing to such companies as wework and etsy.. tech outfits have been circling the brooklyn waterfront properties — and the large “watchtower” on the sign could someday be swapped for a name like “facebook.”.

  bob knakal of cushman & wakefield has been running the sale for the witnesses, who are moving to warwick, ny.. multiple contracts were handed out for the properties and, so far, all are unsigned.. there has been interest globally, and local bidders have included l&l holding, east end capital, equity one and vornado realty trust.

  Australia Branch to end magazine printing

  just one week from the zone overseer's visit is the announcement that the magazine production by the australia branch will end in a few months.

  the task being transferred to the japan branch.

  while i'm not 100% certain, i understand that this effectively ends all major printing bar perhaps tracts, handbills and other loose items.

  I think the trolleys will do just fine for magazines etc since jan this year they have been using undated magazines that could be used in 5 or 10 years time and on the trolleys i have contact with they are full with lots of 10 year old teaching books and they are really PUSHING the web so that you dont need to take any printed info and of course they could print loads of tracts these next few months.on lots of trolleys they even put the teaching books in little plastic sealed food bags to keep them dry etc

  Another JW Literature Trolly Experience

  this morning i stopped at dollar general to get a cheap container for waste paper.

  it was 11:30 am and there were two jw literature trolleys parked near the store and manned by three jws, on old man in a rolling chair, a 30 something man, and 30 something woman.

  as i walked by them i glanced at the their literature rack and proceeded into the store.. i was in the store for 20 minutes and made my purchase.

  Well done, that must cost a bit of money to transport stuff all the way from canada for you :-) i am jelous though

  so even more reason for those that live in oz and uk to start taking teaching books and magazines etc from carts and trashing them having to pay extra transport costs of 100 and 1000s of miles will help to dry the borgs money chest up

  My 14-year-old niece is being disfellowshipped

  i was contacted by my ex sister-in-law yesterday.

  she asked me if i wanted to spend some time with my niece, while she went to her sister's baby shower.

  it turns out my niece can't go because she's about to be disfellowshipped at the ripe old age of 14. .

  then people wonder why i take as many teaching books and mags from the carts as possible and then trash them,if i can save just one person from having to go through this it will have been worth it.

  if the child abuse cases in oz and the uk dont go the watchtowers way and they have to pay big court costs and pay outs if the two branch headquaters move a lot of money out of oz and the uk that they will have to sell off kingdom halls to pay the money
