  No more printing of WT and Awake in my country.. Shit just got real

  guys .

  a letter was just read in out kh stating that all printing of wt and awake is ceased for the coming year and we will just place tracts on fs, countries which were cared by our branch will be cared by other countries...along with this they read the new fs form and stuff about reporting links of videos wtf..lol.

  i can't tell which country perhaps that will give away a lot, any one with a similar information.

  I bet there are 1000s and 1000s of child abuse cases on the files that the watchtower has and i bet they havent passed any on to the police and its painfully slow coming out but when it does im sure that it will have been worth the wait :-)

  Cart "witnessing" in Rio during the 2016 Olympiad

  at the 2016 olympic games in rio de janeiro, brazil, there are reportedly 62 carts with over a thousand brothers/sisters taking shifts and <ehem>working</ehem> the proximity in rio de janeiro from 8 in the morning till 11 at night (8:00 to 23:00), august 5th-21st.. .

  such an "olympic" effort!.

  I wonder how old the literature will be on the carts if its like my city of a million people they have started giving out TEN year old teaching books and they are now also out of print as well

  wow ive just been on another exjw website where it was telling you about all the books that are now not being printed by the wt.two of the books that the guy was telling you have just come on all five carts in my city to give out to the public.there were all printed in 2006 so they havent done the best job of giving them out.but of course these days the wt dont really want publishers to give books out because they either need to be replaced or the carts go out half empty and that would not be very good pr would it .

  they have made so many strategical mistakes it's hard to keep track.

  some changes within the last decade or so that are contributing to declining numbers of jws:.

  1. elimination of book study groups, the most informal, enjoyable and sociable of the jw meetings, contributed to loss of sense of community among jws.. 2. policy of consolidating kingdom halls.

  Trolley cart "witnessing" is getting ridiculous

  i really fail to see how much actual "witnessing" is occurring with the trolley carts.publishers, usually pioneers, just stand or sit there not engaging anyone and count their time.. the only thing i notice that it's accomplishing is brand exposure for jw.0rg so the public is exposed to the logo and literature/poster card headlines.. take for example this "evening" witnessing by a pioneer elder while on summer holiday/vacation.. .

  is this not a wth kinda moment when you consider the years of slaving, knocking on doors, business territory and bible studies we had to keep performing so we weren't branded a "weak" publisher?.

  What makes you think thy are doing it for the general public,the guy was sat down having a rest but still getting his hours in and now that the magazines are undated he could have the same copies on his cart for 6 months or 6 years and nobody would notice.In my city all the carts are have teaching books that have been printed in 2006 and they could quite easily be there in another 10 years time.Of course the thing that upsets the apple cart is when people take the magazines and teaching books because that means they have to be replaced

  the new broadcast is - predictably - about being loyal to the gb.it's a shut up and sit down message.. one of the funny things they keep bringing up is the correlation between the gb and moses.those who don't listen to the gb are like korah.. this is a false choice, why?let's look at a quick comparison.

  (this is from the point of view of the bible).

  was moses directly picked by god?- yeswas the gb directly picked by god?- well no, we actually are not told how the gb are picked and why the qualify.. did god talk to moses?- yesdoes god talk to the gb- no, they admit they are not in direct communication.. did god inspire moses to write laws and judge.- yesdoes god inspire the gb to write laws and judge.- no, they admit they are not inspired, and they are always wrong and need to change things all the time.. did god give the israelites undisputable proof that moses is his channel?- yes, many miracles visible to everyone one around happenddoes god give jws undisputable proof that the gb are his channel?- no, there is no proof, actually contrary.. was moses ever wrong?- nohas the gb ever been wrong?- every time.

  It makes it so easier if the rank and file dont think ie on the four carts ive been to this this week they all have 3 different books that were all printed in 2006.If people think they might think two thoughts at least why havent we given these books out in the last ten years if the work is speeding on LOL and why dont we just throw away these ten years old books and get new ones with all the money they are getting from selling brooklyn and the london bethel off
