  Library now cleared out

  well, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.

  during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.

  i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.

  they are not piutting them on the trolleys are they in ALL five trolleys in my city today they have been trying to give to the general public books printed in 2012

  Are the G.B.members really good business people ?

  if i was an author of a book i think i would be over the moon if i was guaranteed a sale of around 5 million or more books for my work.. the jehovah`s witnesses have over 8 million members plus relatives that are fringe dwellers who come to the memorial once a year ,.

  so what a gold mine they have been sitting on as a publishing house .. why didn`t they keep publishing books for the faithful ,they could have even upped the price , and the faithful would have paid especially in prosperous country`s in the west.. they could have milked this venture for years to come as the faithful would have bought anything they would have published .. and their prophets (profits) would have soared ,literally and figuratively for many more years to come ..

  Also the problem the watchtower have is that the rank and file know of all the huge cuts there have been (if you go on to the jws own website it tells you that in 2012 they closed 20 bethels around the world down) im sure that lots of jw s cant see the need to be giving much money.

  the money grab continues!!

  at a very recent circuit assembly (usa), the accounts overseer gave the typical accounts report for the ca in the early afternoon.

  there were 2100 people at the assembly.

  feel free to move to another thread if i'm posting in the wrong one.. i've been watching leah remini's scientology show (eerily very similar psychological traits to jw's) and one episode talked about how australia now requires non-profit organizations to make their finances public, so i decided to look for jw's reports.. link to jw's reports:.

  I think because of all the outgoings that the watchtower has its only a question of time before they start closing even more bethels.They closed 20 in 2012.They are also in the process of selling 3,000 kingdom halls around the world and since 2015 or so so have stopped printing 50 million magazines a month worldwide.

  I thimk where a lot of the money has gone to is to pay the bills for all the bethels in third world countries,if you look there are about 30 or 40 bethels that could quite easily not be paying all there bills off.The watchtower has been making cuts since 2012 so its not just a quick fix of money they need.
