  237,000 illegal migrants in the last 5 months... is it time to intervene?

  is it possible that anyone being truthful with themself can literally believe that there needs to be a cork placed in this problem.. if this continues, and most sources, not speaking about fox, are suggesting this is only going to get worse and at this rate there will be over 750k illegal migrants.

  how are we suppose to sustain this influx.

  the massive amounts of children flooding the schools in my own municipality is crippling, for many of the counties residents.. as an example the entire county offered free breakfast and lunch to all students.

  Yes its time to intervene,you should be making sure that google,starbucks and amazon pay the same percentage of tax as any other buisness

  Is this JW Investment for the future?

  i first had contact with jw's in the early 70's so i have seen many changes in that time like many people here.. in recent years we have seen the talk of many new kingdom and assembly halls to be built with urgency ,then suddenly it was put on hold ,then the halls were legally taken over by the society and congregations now renting ,if you will, back the halls they paid for and built with their own hands .i am talking generally as it would be different in some parts of the world.. people have been consolidated into neighboring halls as a lot of halls have been sold bringing in massive amounts of money for the wts.

  over time policy ,scripture interpretation etc have changed ,people move about new ones get born in ,new people become jw,s and all this churning keeps people distracted.. eventually,over time surely the halls will fill up again with there being less of them around .i wonder whether this is part of wts strategy for the future fiscal plan ,that they can once again build the hysteria of the 80,s for quick built kingdom halls again ,and so then completing a cycle for future sell offs again ensuring future money and investment?

  for ones born in or newer ones who were'nt around in the 80's it would all seem so fresh and exciting for the wts to sell it to them!.

  If jws from kingdom hall 1 move into kingdom hall 2 it will be nice for the jws at hall one to have extra support but as for any new people coming around if they were on kingdom halls 1 patch then they will have to go further if they want to go number 2.I think the watchtower kmow this but they need the money and it is far easier to close loads of little kingdom halls down.What choice do the local people or elders have NONE

  after all, "at this time,over 13,000 kingdom hall projects and 35 assembly hall projects are needed worldwide.".

  hmmm, not too sure about that but all the recent re-branding seems to be heading .

  could this be the long game?

  Y es the watchtower has on going debts paying for all the thirld world branches that are not paying their way.They cant really sell any more branch offices off (they did sell 20 0ff in 2012) that would upset the whole country knowing that their branch office had been sold,so its easier to keep on selling local kingdom halls off and hope that most jws wouldnt know what was happening 400 and 500 miles away

  Lv the jw man at the start of the video was talking about 2016,so even if they were talking about 2015 by my maths that makes it 4 years old.

  Its a video on the jw survey channel on youtube and its called under the "watchtower in focus"section and its called dedicated funds.

  John redwood who is one of the ex jw people on the video had a very intresting thought about why the watchtower has made so many cuts since 2012.

  What he thought was that many of the 3rd world branches in africa and asia are not paying their way and are depending on a few rich countries to pay the bills.and that really made sense to me if you have 40 or 50 branches that are not fully paying their way then it very quickly mounts up

  Ileaked video that out about two years said the watchtower was going to sell 3,000 khs off around the world.

  my hall was desolved and most of the publishers were added to a congregation that only had 50 publishers.

  If i thought the end was coming i wouldnt have kicked out 1000s of people from bethels from around the world but kept them there so they could go door to door not 30 hours a month but 50 hours a week.

  The good news is lv101 that i think the time is coming for the watchtower when it will just be the people at warwick and they will be doing stuff online and everything else will be sold off.

  i moved to where i'm currently living for 10 years now.

  once in a while, i would have jws come to my door and every single time either i or my husband would send them on their merry way, although my husband is quite rude about it.

  i'm not sure when the cart witnessing (or whatever it is called) started up, but the only time i ever heard about it was on the internet, or someone here talking about it.
