SAD
by Cthulhu ini'm sure we are all aware of the condition known as sad (seasonal affected depression).
generally, for those who aren't familiar with it, this means that due, largely in part, to the lack of sunlight during the winter months, people experience feelings of depression.
however, i am curious as to whether you may have observed something similar, but rather opposite, and i would appreciate your input.

Jerkhovah - You sound like me. I've often wondered if I have any Transylvanian blood in me.

However, I am curious as to whether you may have observed something similar, but rather opposite, and I would appreciate your input. You see, I like rainy, gloomy days. Not as in "oh it's nice to listen to the rain on the roof." I mean, I feel good on those sorts of days. I feel good like people say they do when it is bright and sunny out. I get depressed on days where it is "nice" by the standards of most. It's been sunny and "beautiful" out for the last few days here and all I want to do is curl up in a ball in the corner and just weep. It sucks. It only seems to be on sunny days that it really hits me too. For instance, for those who may say "it's all in your head and based on some cooky preference," there have been days where I've felt that way, just shitty and down, barely able to handle people, etc., and noticed halfway or so through the day that I felt much better, relieved. What happened? It clouded up. It seems like that makes all the difference for me. So, my long winded comentary has been made in an effort to see if any of you know whether there is some sort of "condition" associated with that seemingly backward...disposition. Your thoughts will be much appreciated.

Advice Needed!
by Cthulhu inso, as some of you know, the dubs in my locale have this story about me and breaking and entering and selling stolen goods, etc.
i've recieved several calls during the last few days.
they've even stopped at my job, again.

Yknot, to clarify, I've not told them a damn thing. There is nothing but assumptions. They did purchase one of the items I was selling, and they claim that this one was theirs. So, you see, there are some things that really don't help me much, and for that reason I would like to avoid as much headache as possible. I do think that presenting this theocratically, will help, if I have to speak to them in the first place.

So, Yknot, how much would you say to them in the mean time, while in the process of finding legal counsel? I don't want to make it appear that they are being ignored, as this might put them in what they feel is a position with few options other than what they've already threatened.

So, nugget, in short it sounds like you wouldn't take them at their word for this. I kind of feel the same way. All I'd really like is to be left alone. I am not certain that to DA will insure anything of the sort. Rather, I am sure, it could end up being quite the opposite.
yknot, i agree. Isn't it funny how quickly they attack someone rather than try to aid them? Even if what they were saying were true, wouldn't it be their duty to try to assist a brother who has seemed to stray?

So, as some of you know, the dubs in my locale have this story about me and breaking and entering and selling stolen goods, etc. I've recieved several calls during the last few days. They've even stopped at my job, again. Two days ago I called one of the elders and left a short message acknowledging that I'd recieved listened to his messages. I recorded this. Last night, several hours after they dropped in at my job, I recieved another call, to the effect of "we need a letter of disassociation. If you'd like to talk to us, we'd be happy to so we can put some of this behind us. We don't want to involve the police, but we need to do something soon." Basically I see it this way. They think they have this whole thing set and figured out and if I don't da, they will start using police to threaten me. If I do da they are expecting me to believe that they are going to put everything that they think has happened behind them. Is this likely? In other words, given the limited version of the account I'm telling you, does it seem probable that they Witnesses would drop something they thought a member had done if said member suddenly became ex-member?

I've been out for a while, but every once in a while I get to thinking "oh shit! what if they were right?" I call them phantom beliefs. A friend of mine, who is also an ex dub told me he went through the same thing for a year or more. He used to believe the demons were after him. Now that he's out he worries about people trying to break into his house. It's all about state of mind. It doesn't leave you quickly. Hang in there. The fairy tale bull shit will pass.
