Jesus is Michael the Archangel because the scripture says that he comes with an archangel's voice but he is not and cannot be god, even though the very same scripture says he comes with the trumpet of god.

I enjoy it now. I don't care so much about the festivities and money parts but being able to spend time with family and friends when they have the time off from work instead of having to come up with lame excuses because "I know what it's really all about" is pretty nice.

Sundays

then it was afternoon service well into the evening, which left me just enough time to read a few articles from the new magazines or a few chapters from the bible before i was off to bed.
sunday for me really is sort of a day of rest, and not in some sabbatical sense of the word either.

Then it was afternoon service well into the evening, which left me just enough time to read a few articles from the new magazines or a few chapters from the Bible before I was off to bed. Now, of course, it's nothing like that. Sunday for me really is sort of a day of rest, and not in some sabbatical sense of the word either. Just a day to relax and, sometime, even recuperate from Friday and/or Saturday. What do you do on Sundays now?

funny but extreamly annoying at the same time.. 3. one sunday morning when i had the high honor of reading the watchtower for the congregation the brother conducting the "discussion" had a little trouble when reading the scripture about the "congregated throng of jehovah.

For any who care, there is a book on the subject, appropriately called "On Bullshit." Gives a very nice and educated discussion on the matter. Perhaps it should be sent to the WTS for their expert opinion.
