I don't really watch romantic comedies. To do that is kinda sucker like. Just seems like my man card will get revoked for watching things like that. Not that it matters any, but I just got back from seeing "Predators" which wasn't a bad edition to the franchise. Sticking with the thread topic, does "Knocked Up" count as a romantic comedy? I watched most of it last night, until I couldnt stay up any longer, and I thought it was hilarious. If it comes on again, I doubt I'll try to finish what I missed, but what I did catch of it, wasn't bad.

Question About Breast Photographs
by AudeSapere inplease, please, please don't make this thread go bad.
i have a fairly serious but gently light-hearted question.. i am on my out the door to meet a friend for consultion with a surgeon who specializes in breast surgery.
the reason for the consultation is that breast mri and biopsy shows possible cancerous lesions.

ya know something........ We're sitting here getting deep about another woman's breasts. I've been at this job all week now with the exception of Monday, and I'm tired. It's been a long 4 days here. One thing I've realized in life is, not everything has to be so complicated. The simple answer to the threadstarter's question is......... It's her tits.

I wonder what RR what say in response to this question? ohhh thats right!! He got banned!!
I don't see anything wrong with "before" photos. It's no different than someone who has pictures of themselves when their hair was long prior to getting it cut. Or when they're obese, and lost the weight. The human body and the changes it goes through are fascinating. Besides she's 50 and a mature adult, who cares what anybody else thinks.

I can't remember if it was song 43 or not. I had all intentions of doing a thread about it after the meeting that played this song last. It had to have been this song though, cuz I remember saying to myself, "Geez, we're singing about the faithful and discreet slave now?!?!" Its comical if you can maintain a sense of humor, but so many people lives are entrapped and ruined by this not so discreet slave class.
I was thinking, you know how this organization promotes and rewards brown-nosing behavior? I'm guessing the song writers when penning the lyrics, or revising the lyrics thought adding this little gem would get them some spiritual kudos. This song probably got Jaracz to smile genuinely.

Now they go a-whoring with the hook of generating $$$ for local businesses! Could they be any less tactful more blatant about it?
Exactly.

GodBlock, a new web filter that blocks religious content. Stuff like this makes me wonder about the Babylon the Great doctrine.
by miseryloveselders inhttp://www.godblock.com/.
i mentioned before that i don't agree with the wt's interpretation of who babylon the great is.
however, i can't deny that people are more open today about being closed towards religious interference in their lives.

Ever feel guilty listening to the Rolling Stones as a dub?
by undercover inthis is aimed more for people who grew up when the beatles and stones were first popular, i guess.
now it's completely silly and ridiculous, but it's funny how hearing an old song on the radio can bring back certain memories.... back in the 60s, early 70s i was a big beatles fan but for the most part none of their music was ever labeled 'dangerous' or 'subversive', even as a youth growing up in the jw cult.
even their more psyhcedelic stuff was tamer than other bands of the era.

I'm probably too young for this thread, but the first job I ever had I worked with a bunch middle aged White dudes in a glorified garage doing mechanical work. They were the majority, so they controlled the radio. Fair enough. The biker types befriended me, and before I knew it, I was starting to have a liking for hard rock. I would hear things on the classic rock station that I liked and I would ask the biker dudes, "who's this man?" "Thats Led Zepplin" or "That's The Doors". I remember saying to the one cat, "I like that song that goes whoo whoo, whoo whoo, pleased to meet you, won't ya guess my name. Who's that?" "Thats the Stones, that songs about the Devil. " "Really? " I love hard rock, some Metal, early punk, and early hardcore. But it took me a while to warm up to that kind of music. PArt of it was its not in my background. I grew up on Soul, R&B, and HipHop. Then you add the JW background, and that kind of music is really tabboo. But I'm glad I got to work around those guys, and got exposed to Rock. Later on, I felt like I was inviting the demons in my folks home when I purchased AC/DC's Back In Black. Led Zeppelin's Dazed & Confused made me feel so guilty! Jim Morrrison at the close of "The End", when he tells his mother what he wants to do to her?!?!? By the way that song compliments the climax of Apocalypse Now so well.
Something that bothers me at times is how my standards have laxed. I went from feeling guilty for listening to Zeppelin and AC/DC, to not feeling guilty. Eventually I REALLY crossed over into uncharted waters when I purchased Black Sabbath's debut album and the PAranoid album. I thought I was gonna start levitating for liking N.I.B. too much. Or the demons were going to start acting up in my folks home. Later on as I started getting into Punk, I got into The Misfits, and Danzig who by the way is VERY anti-religious. His voice back then was heavenly though. Its been a strange journey man.

Ahhh C'mon Syl!! I'm not requesting this with a motive for criticism, or even debate for that matter. I'm still connecting the dots myself. I'm not entirely convinced I've figured out who the Beast and the Whore is yet myself. C'mon Syl give us some insight!

See this right here, is what makes me furious. I was having a good day today, until seeing the title of this thread. The powers that be in NY discourage education. They discourage careers, marriage, anything that takes into consideration your future that may very well be right here in "this system of things" for who knows how long. They don't have a problem requesting financial assistance for their unlimited building projects such as this, and their latest endevor in New York. Which by the way is accomplished through free labor. You understand where I'm coming from? Its dang near a sin to go to college, but they're constructing huge buildings with free labor and donations? WTF?!?! Circuit Overseers and DO's are getting free housing, apartments, and new vehicles as compensation for delivering talks and going out in field service. ARGHGHGH!!!
