Wanted to mention another aspect of it. Granted, most do get DFd over behavior. Thats a fact, its mostly due to behavior. However, something I've wondered as of late, is how much of that behavior is a direct result of the toxic culture encouraged within this organization. The toxic culture includes being forced to accept doctrines you may not agree with it. When push comes to shove, some people can hold their own under extreme circumstances. Others may not be as strong, and may seek "certain outlets" to help them persevere through difficult times. What outlets are available to the average JW? More study, more field service, more time with "the friends", more participation at the meetings, etc.. At the same time while your encouraged to spend more time doing all those things that you've probably spent more than enough time at, the things that you'd like to do are becoming ever more a distant fantasy. That fantasy often enough doesn't have to include immoral behavior. It could be things such as participation in a book club, extraciricular sports, classes at the local community college, volunteer work, etc., all of which are frowned upon. So just like private Catholic school girl confronted with an aroused male can't hardly contain herself, so does the so called mature Christian JW when confronted with something in the same vein.

LOL, I don't know man. She's losing though. I think this motherly looking chick is going to beat her. The anouncers keep saying this other woman has kids, and to be frank, she looks like it. She needs to be at home suckling or whatever it is mothers do. This Stosur girl though, she's got a tight little frame. She definately hits the weights. I like that. No treadmill for her!

Mad Sweeny, I'm questioning it myself about how widespread this "apostacy" is. That paragraph was serious business as was much of that entire article. As Wing Commander mentioned, its becoming so blatant any more. Everything is the Faithful Slave, the Slave this, the Slave that. One of the new songs in the song book has a verse about the slave, so now we're singing about them!!! Its really getting over the top. I'm glad though, I hope they continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

I hate the trendyness of it all. Every couple years its something else. Women wearing the sweater shawls like Clint Eastwood in Fistful of Dollars, or the Jennifer Aniston haircuts. But this one is different, its a fad that won't simply disappear, because ink is permanent. It seemed like it started with every punk a$$ frat dude with the tribal tattoo on his arms. These same dudes wouldn't bust a grape and would be rape victims in prison. After 50cent blew up and was taking his shirt off every other minute, young folks everywhere seemed to be getting them. I particulary hate seeing young women with prison style ink. It's not attractive to see a woman with R.I.P. Tyrone on the side of her neck. I will say for the authentic alternative female types, some of them it looks good on. Like Kat Von D. She looks pretty scrumptious I have to admit. I could see possibly getting a public reproval over her, maybe even a DFing.
