Funny you say that because the new Jeremiah book released last year has a question for one of the paragraphs that asks, "What happened in 607 B.C.?" I don't know if we'll every do that book at the Congregation Bible Studies, but it will be interesting if we do.

Spade, why don't you contact scholar (via PM). He too defends the 607 BCE chonology and he at least doesn't copy and paste.
Otherwise, this whole thread is a waste of time. *sigh*
You've gotta respect Scholar, even if you don't agree with him. I like that he has a sense of humor about it all too, mentioning "the celebrated WT scholars." Probably a cool dude outside of here.

i asked for the mag's and started anti= witnessing.
i'm guessing the man was about 40 yrs old and ask him how long he's been a member of the wts.?

I ran into a Father and his 10 yr old jw daugther . I asked for the mag's and started anti= witnessing. I'm guessing the man was about 40 yrs old and ask him how long he's been a member of the WTS.? HE SAYS 11 YEARS so I asked him how he got sucked into WTS? He says from READING THE BIBLE. I said from just reading the bible? He lies some more and YES. I told him no body becomes a member of the wts from just reading the bible, went into detail about how you study wts publications in order to become a jw and very little bible reading only proof texts mostly taken out of context to back up the paragraph. The look on his face proved to me I caught him lying.
I switched my attention to his beautiful 10 year old daughter. I spoke to her very clearly and told her 40 years ago when I was your age and went to the kh they promised me the world would end before I went to middle school and if I didn't sell these mag's jehovah would kill me before I became an adult. Look at me now I'm old and turning grey. Jehovah didn't kill me for not peddling the mag's and I have 2 kids in college. Why didn't the world end like the Wts said? Because they are teachers of satan the devil and want you to not have any fun,birthdays parties, dances, sports. etc. grow up and waste your life pioneering . I asked the girl if she has a computer. She said yes. I told her and dad to look up false Prophecies of the wts. To learn how the wts has been lying to them and feeding them POISON. I was polite and think I got into both of their heads. I really worked the pretty young girl.

My mother gets hot, and she'll leave windows open, and vents closed. A few years ago, after taking a nap, my pop went to the bathroom I guess to take a dump, and the toilet seat must have felt like Antartica because of the closed vent and open window. He stormed out of the bathroom threatening to unscrew and remove the vents entirely. I thought it was hilarious.
Strange how women get older, and they get hotter, and men get older and colder. Remember old and soon to be deceased King David needed young girls to keep him warm like Hugh Heffner?
