You all just won't let the leg warmers die huh LOL!!!! I swear I love everyone on this forum LOL. Spring time is coming and leg warmers and women will be so far off my personal radar. I've got so much work to do. I have to say, I love the way women dress in the wintertime. Something about it makes me intrigued. Right now, with spring time coming, I've only got a couple things on my mind........work and reading. Thats all.

She does not need too many makeup artists, I should know I photograph females. I just asked a simple question is all. So what is everyone "dreaming" about being with this type of female? What a waste of time to drool over a photograph. Who is it that is weakened over the appearance of a female? I for one am NOT..........weak men, how pathetic.

There's too many bands and hip hop acts that I'll have on steady rotation at any given moment in my life. I'm so moody anymore. Some days I'm feeling melancholy and Radiohead does the trick. Other days I'm in a good mood with a little Absolute or Tanquarey and Isaac Hayes does the trick. Isaac and Radiohead will never get old to me. Right now I'm sorta pissed off, and this Pusha T mixtape dropped this week and two tracks in particular I can't stop listening to. Blow and Alone In Vegas.

Three years ago TODAY !

it's my anniversary !!!.

i just realised that three years ago, on 25th march 2008, i walked out of the kingdom hall and thought, "i can never go back".

it was a strange and worrying feeling that night, i knew (or thought) i was heading for being df'd, i had been in for 58 years, all my extended family were in, all my life-long friends were in, all my social circle were in, and as i walked away , i knew jw life was at an end, and i would have to start a new life from scratch... it is the most wonderful decision i have ever made in my life, second only to when i impulsively asked my girlfriend of a few months to marry me, she did, the fool, and we are still together after 40 years.. i have enjoyed immensely the feeling of relief, freedom and excitement that has been with me since i left, my journey since leaving has been a fascinating one of exploring ideas and visiting different religion's services, learning about evolution, philosophy, critical thinking, etc.etc.. three years well spent, and the rest of my life in freedom !!

really interesting how most folks can see that it is not right to shun someone because they choose to question their long held beliefs.

the only difference between this pastor and witnesses who question what they have been taught, is instead of just firing you the watchtower organization will force your friends and family to shun you.

I was reading this yesterday. A similar thing happened to a preacher named Carlton Pearson some years ago, that MSNBC had did a documentary on. He stopped preaching hell, and his church folded overnight. These situations speak volumes about certain segments of religious communities. Namely, they're very insecure with their belief system.

Is anyone here doing April's 30 hour Auxillary Pioneer Special ?

i know there are many active jw's here and was just wondering if anyone is going to take advantage of april's special of only 30 hours for the month.. i actually might, just to irk some of the elders that can't figure me out in their minds.. it would involve 2 long days ... that's it.

even i can go out in fs in the morning with the group and hang out at bus stops and train stations the rest of the day.. i am really tempted.. rub a dub.

I almost gave into it and started to sign up especially after we recieved a letter from our current CO who tried to subtly pressure all the Ministerial Servants and Elders to do it. After the COBOE read the letter, I went into the bathroom, and I'm standing at the urinal when the Service Overseer came in, and he goes, "Well Misery are you going to sign up?" I replied, "yes I am, this is a wonderful oppurtunity. I'm looking foward to it." The more I thought about it, absolutely not, I aint signing up for jack. We accomplish exactly zilch in field service, why would I want to double my time and accomplish double zilch?
