Maybe the Watchtower should pay some compensation to the victims from their own money .
I mean if it wasnt for Rutherfords letters to Hitler they probobly wouldnt have been their in the first place.

here is a letter with compensation for victims of nazi persecution.
does anyone have any clue as to what this was all about and if wts did distributed money as oddly as this sound in the paragraph on pg.2??
i don't see why wts wouldn't want to disclose jw info to the agency in question but deal as mediatory body between the two?

this is not a bible teaching.
the bible says the opposite.. adam was created physically imperfect or he wouldnt have needed to be put out the garden so as not to be able to eat from the tree of life-.
adam was created morally imperfect or he wouldnt have failed his first test.
Hi Psacramento
I never thought of it in a literal sence. In fact I think the whole concept of understaning God in these verses is beyound our comprehension and understanding. You see words are such an imperfect way for communication. I mean they are great for fun literature ie Sherlock Holmes ,Mark Twain ect. My hope is that their is a afterlife and we are unable to grasp how wonderful it is. Thats why we need faith .But I have also enjoyed debating the subject and challenging my thinking.

Good advise Elsewhere. Actually thats what Iam trying to do.
In my Bible the verse says "In our image after our likeness" But that doesnt mean your point is not valid.
Thanks to everyone for their contribution. This is the place to come for a diversity of viewpoints.

Actually I always thought man was created in Gods image untill he ate of the fruit Genesis3v5....ye shall be as Gods knowing good and evil" Now Adam became in Gods likeness-

god presented adam with a commanment.
and he was given the option and told the consequences .. so adam chose to die.
where is the sin.. .
PSacramenyo
Iam saying he was commanded by God not to do it, unless he was prepared to pay the consequences. And he chose to pay the consequences.
The consequences were clearly beyound Adams comprehension. He didnt die on that day with his dearly beloved Eve.....the rest is history.
How long can a person live without love? Without water a person can survive a week? Maybe Adam started dying because his ability to love perfectly was destroyed by what happened.
How long do you think a person can live without loving in the perfect sence. Maybe thats why we die? But I personally do not see how Adam disobayed God.

Actually PS acramento
I disagree-Also it doesnt say.... 17 If in the day."....It says ...For in the day you eat"
You must not shoot your yourself in the head for when you shoot yourself in the head you will surely die" That in my mind mind is good advise not a commandment.
I think Adam had freewill and exercised his right to use that freewill and die with his LOVE-(Eve)

Adam didnt do what God told him not to do. He did what God said he could do if he accepted the consequences.
I think his love for Eve and the possibility of life without her, He did what was fully understandable.
Thanks to everyone else for their informative viewpoints.
