Did I Have a Stroke?

is it just disorientation, getting old...?.

i awoke this morning and really did not know where i was.

I awoke this morning and really did not know where I was. I didn't know how to use my phone or get online ... My speech and thoughts are halting, more now than ever before.

I have complete mobility and no facial contortions and no headache ... Online diagnostics is really not the correct way to go, but I'm clueless.

You should see a doctor about that, CoCo. It could be many things. Maybe just stress and fatigue, but maybe something serious. At the least, a doctor's examination can rule out things it isn't and give you some peace of mind.

Any suggestions for legitimate work at home jobs?

my daughter may need this.

since she has heart failure, she may not be able to go back to work, because her dr. has placed her on a 5 lb lifting restriction.

her company has held her job open for her since the end of november, but will not agree this restriction.. she has applied for disability, but since her dr would allow her to work at all (dispite strict restrictions) she has been told that they will not likely approve her.... so she is caught between a rock and a hard place.

Does her employer offer any kind of a telecommuting arrangement? One of my co-workers is strictly telecommuting, to fit part-time work hours between her college classes. It's a good way to work at home, and since she already knows the company, she knows that it's legitimate if they do offer it. The advantage to the employer is getting somebody they already know and trust, and who knows how the company works. It's a win-win if the company can offer that to her, so she should ask about it if she hasn't already done so.

PROTESTS AT WATCHTOWER CONVENTIONS

as you may know, the watchtower society takes great pride in its district conventions.

please contact me if you can attend any of these protests.. there is no reason why every district convention in the world could not have a protest and receive media coverage to expose the watchtower society.

Did it ever occur to you that many of us still have Witness family members that we still love and want in our lives despite not believing it's "the Truth"? Your black and white attitude seems to be that every single poster on here should be prepared to give up any and all family members for no other reason than you did. And by your yardstick, if we aren't prepared to give them up, then we're "moral cowards".

Thank you, Mary, for saying this so clearly and eloquently! That is exactly why I, among many others, take care to protect my anonymity here. It would be wonderful if I didn't have to do that, but it is not the case now, nor is it likely to be any time soon.
