let us read a recent watchtower publication:.

many medical professionals and other advocates of blood transfusion appeal to people to donate blood in hopes of saving lives.

however, jehovahs holy people acknowledge that the creator has the right to say how blood is to be treated.

JW internal warfare threatens the Tract campaign

i overheard this argument re the new tract campaign.

one elder told a publisher, to hide the tract in the mailbox if the home owner wasn't home.

the publisher was used to folding the tip of the tract, and just left a tip showing.

Follow the power and the money, then there's nothing weird about it. It's partly about theft control, mostly about protecting the post office's legal monopoly. The WTBTS has to leave their offerings out on the door steps, just as FedEx and UPS must do.

most xjws likely have matthew 28:19,20 burned into their brains, if indeed they ahve brains left after years of boring meetings.. but, in case you have forgotten the text, it says:.

go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you: and, lo, i am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.

Effective evangelization begins with the example of your life, not with the words you speak, and especially not by talking at somebody instead of with them. There is a difference between preaching the Gospel and giving a hard sell presentation; that is the point Pope Francis is making, and that is why the Watchtower's approach produces more enemies than it does converts.

i have sprayed, i have bug bombed, i have sprayed some more.

i threw things out i thought that they might have a nest in.

i soaked some things in hot water all day.

If you are in an apartment, you are likely to share a neighbor's infestation. Seal up openings in the walls around pipes, etc. as best you can, to keep the nighbor's roach problem out of your apartment. For extermination it's best to have the building manager do it for everyone at the same time, so surviving bugs next door don't move in as soon as the treatment wears off.

Dad called on my birthday

today is my birthday.

i'm beyond caring about birthdays (i'm 51) but my dad, who is a non-jw married to my crazy jw mother, usually doesn't acknowledge us kids on our birthdays so as not to piss off my mom.

actually, he has never acknowledged my birthday.
