Bravo Metatron. I couldn't have said it better myself. Some JW's leave the "truth" and do all sorts of negative/self-destructive things, but IMHO it is because they were raised in one extreme & were never taught balance. Many of the people I've met outside of the witnesses and even *gasP* apostates have been some of the most balanced, caring folks in the world...i.e.-world meaning this beautiful planet

I swear to tell the whole truth...
by Lillith26 in... and nothing but the truth, please help me prozak..... i'm sure some have noticed how 'cranky' and 'snappy' i have been posting the last couple of days.... i am sorry..... life on my peaceful farm has gone to hell the last week with the noise of constant loud bangs from 'scareguns' that have been placed around our property to keep the ducks off the rice crops..... i have had very little sleep as the noise echos inside my old brick house 24hrs a day!......
so now that i have had my rant, i ask the question.... (in the family guy style).
what grinds your gears????????.

1. When you call to make an appointment, please have a day and time in mind BEFORE you dial. I don't have time to be "on hold" while you check your schedule. Oh, and it annoys me when you ask "is there a certain time that works best for you?" and they say "ohhhh, anytime is fine." So then you list about ten different times and they tell you "No, that won't work."
Sorry to pick on all the little Napolean complex dog owners . I'd say what annoys me the most is when the owners don't MOVE AWAY from me, especially if I'm the one by the fence & can't move over. When I am able to, I scoot over....I just wish they'd offer the same courtesy. We're talking 190lbs of pure muscle after all (the dogs, not me).

Demonstrate that that is not true by asking a question. Make it a good one and don't let them sidetrack you or use any of their other slippery tricks on you. I agree completely. That's how I usually do it....by asking a question as if I truly don't understand. I just like to make sure I feel confident with where I'm headed. I know they use off-the-wall answers and sly comebacks...so I just want to be prepared. Thanks for everyone's comments
