  Christmas or Christ's Mass – which will you be celebrating?

  neither.. i have no affinity at all to the commercial christmas.

  i do, however, think that the religious celebration is not as wicked as the society has made out.

  ok, it maybe at the wrong time of the year but it is clear that the birth of christ was something to celebrate at the time and is still worth remembering today.. .

  I'm celebrating Xmas, not CHRISTmas. I love the tree decorated, the sweet smell of the pine needles, the cookies baking,family and friends who know the meaning of unconditional love. That's how my first Xmas was about ten years ago. Because of certain circumstances, I've had to skip it various years, but this year its all about love and acceptance (and hoping the elders dont pop by unannounced).

  Since Leaving The "Truth" Is Your Life Better?

  you are told that if you "go back to the vomit" of the world, you will be miserable.. is your life better or worse since you've removed yourself from the organization's hold?.

  I would say I'm happier. While a jw, I felt tired and anxious and guilty and depressed all the time with no clue why. Since leaving/fading, I am only left with the anxiety part because I've still got close jw family and their kingdom hall is literally 1 minute away from my business (which I own). I have an xmas tree in the house but feel anxious that the elders are going to stop by unannounced, which they tend to do...my spouse is recently faded so they feel he still has hope. Once we speak with the families about our true feelings, I think the anxiety will be much less. Disassociating also pops into my mind daily so that I will never fear having the elders stop by.

  I don't feel guilty anymore. I am happy to smile at another table in a resturant when they are surround by the birthday singing staff. I feel more balanced as well.

  my gravitar didnt work. wot have i dun wrong?

  i set up the whole gravitar account and seeing that i cant remember or find which email address i used for this forum, i did two join ups, with my email accounts i use.

  followed all the links, uploaded a pic, cropped it, it said all good.... but no new avatar?.

  what may i still be doing wrong?.

  I made a mistake when I first did the gravatar thing by entering the wrong email address as well. So I went back to the gravatar account with the wrong address and chose to "add another email" to the account...then I chose my picture for that account as well. i hope this helps

  Calling all smart people for help

  my manager expects a business plan tomorrow morning, and of course with all the holiday stuff i totally blew it off until the last minute.

  if it weren't for procrastination, i'd have no plan at all.

  i need to show how i plan to be profitabl, and i am so new to all of this, i have no clue where to start.

  remember these silly tests they make you take?

  i don't remember how often they were, but thinking back on them, boy does it seem silly!

  sitting there for half an hour trying to remember stupid stuff as if you are in school.

  My parents made me study beforehand, so I knew the jist of the answers. then I'd finish as soon as I could, start making eye contact with my best friend across the hall, and then we'd get up to run into the C school so we could gossip about the hot guys in highschool
