Thanks guys! I know it will change my life forever....I'm ready for the ride!
So what's your take on drinking alcohol during pregnancy? My husband tells me I can't even have one glass (He just watched a show that targeted fetal alcohol syndrome, and it said that even one glass a week can cause severe retardation).
However, ALL of my friends and friends' parents have told me that drinking 1/2 a glass to a glass per week was completely fine for them and their children are all beautiful and smart.
What do you think? I havent had a drink in 14 weeks....
What do the first kicks feel like? I swore at 10 weeks, I felt the weirdest flutter on the right side of my abdomen...but I havent felt it since.
What did you crave when you were pregnant?
Did all the wives' tales prove to be true for you? So far, the only thing I can eat is dairy/milk and Easy Mac, which is weird since I havent eaten that stuff in about 5 years. I am certainly not craving fruit (they say craving fruit means you're having a girl)...

Asilentone, great advice, and definitely something I plan on doing!
I've already got some women telling me their horror stories. I suppose I'm just listening as though it can happen, not that it necessarily will happen. I am a little surprised at some of the comments I've received so far. Some people just lack filtering skills. When my jw sister was pregnant, I was shocked that other jdubs would say things like "Oh, you're so brave. We wouldnt DARE have a baby in this system of things"

Yep, this is baby #1! We can't find out if its a boy or girl until week 20 (or month 5). Its so confusing because technically they say a woman is pregnant for 40 weeks, or TEN months. We dont have a 'theme' in mind yet, though we're going to have to do some painting.
So, here is my ignorant question: If you dont own a changing table, where do you change the baby?
Also, I've heard the Diaper Genie is CRAP. Any other suggestions? Dont they make something similar that just takes regular grocery or trash bags?
Leaving WT, a friend of mine loaned me her copy of that book. I hope I dont get any of those ailments listed! So far, everything seems normal.

Thanks everyone! Me & hubby are both faded, though he's a little worried about having a Christmas tree in the house. And it didnt help matters when we went to a Christmas party on Saturday night and Santa made an appearance. 3/4ths of small children were petrified

Im just about at 14 weeks. WhoooHOOOOO! I thought I had the answers to all, until I got that "positive" on the pregnancy test. This is a thread where I ask for your advice. on ANYTHING baby-related.
With this situation that happened recently (see link below), my protective instincts have kicked in big time. While I've been able to put up with a lot of "You shouldn't do thats" and "You're breaking Jehooba's heart", I will NOT allow anyone to put that guilt on my new little one.
I don't know whether I should go ahead and talk with the jw families and let them know that if the little one goes to their house and talks about a friends Birthday party, that they will not tell them they are wrong. Or maybe I should just wait till the time comes....? OOOOOOohhhhh, I'm so excited I'll be even more excited when I quit wanting to vomit and sleep 24/7

haha, yep. I had postcards ordered from vistaprint.com and they were just waiting for addresses . Actually, I take my former comment back...
It was under $8 bucks to send to the people outside the U.S.A....I forgot I already had the US postcard stamps
