  wasnt fredrick franz the only scholarly person (or somewhat scholarly) person who was 'somewhat qualified' to translate any type of biblical greek, hebrew, etc?.

  yes, the wtbs has done much deserving ridicule- yet does far more deserving credit and respect.. but this is not about them, but the truth about god and christ they have made known, by showing it to all in the scriptures.

  because of this work, most know that god(s) is not the ultimate sadist bbqing billions in a mythical 'hellfire' anymore, etc!.

  Ex 3:14- And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said,Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

  The holy spirit has been divided into sections, poured out, and fills true believers? (It's the POWER of God)

  Neither is the word "Ghost", as in -snicker!- the 'Holy GHOST'!

  By capturing the TRUE meaning of the Hebrew, as well as what the holy spirit REALLY is it is just more PROOF as to how accurate and honest it IS, Chalam.

  arim- do real research:

  Translators ADD caps and "a"s - since there ARE no "a"s in Greek, nor upper & lower case.

  Compare translations for Ex 7:1 as well as John 1:1.

  "making you god to pharaoh"

  Some add caps, some add "a"s, some add BOTH to make it understandable!

  Ding- they likely DID- all we have are later copies.

  They and Christ KNEW God's Name- as do you & I.

  To pretend it doesn't belong there because of translators, Judiasm, and the Koine Greek is wrong.

  Allel, as pointed out, the Name WAS in the OT scriptures quoted in the NT, which HAD no word for Jehovah/Yahweh.

  THAT is why the first Septugiants had it written in Hebrew text .

  Since it EXISTS in ENGLISH, we put it back.

  Think the Christians writing the NT REMOVED the very Name Jesus taught them to HONOR?

  We don't. There simply wasn't a Greek equivalent, yet- that came later.
