  in need of a good brochure

  i have neighbors that the witness are obviously having a bible study with, they come by weekly in skirts and their 4 door car.. i need a good brochure that i can leave on their door everytime the jw's come by.. can anyone reccomend one?.

  hey everyone, my family and i have not gone to meeting in over a year.

  rumors have swirled about us, but i have always dodged the elders calls and never said anything about my feelings.

  so after a while the calls/visits dwindled, but in october they came by again and saw our halloween decorations.

  What's a lawyer charge to take a letter you've drafted for him/her and print it on his/her letterhead and sign it?

  A couple hundred dollars, depends on the caliber of attorney.

  Good for Prince if he's fading, maybe he's hanging out on the board. Did he ever have hip replacement surgery? He was putting it off for "faith" reasons. I hope he woke up about that as well.

  there are many times when i'd think did the wbts they just make that up, so that they could print it within their article or did that happen they for real !

  Just co-signing w/Ynot. Some pediatricians and family practitioners ask that question as part of the the routine exam. Maybe it depends on the region and the age of the doctor. Not everyone is comfortable with talking about molestation, doctor included.

  current JW tagged in pictures in Xmas and Birthday parties on FB

  had to laugh when i saw this.. a current jw who i know on fb was tagged in photos showing him at a christmas party a few days ago.

  within minutes of them landing he removed the tags because obviously these would have been seen by other jw's on his page.. when i asked him why he'd removed them he said: "i was off work sick and i didn't want my colleagues seeing me on the razzle".

  I just participated in my first Christmas activity today

  there was a 'white elephant' gift exchange at my job today.

  i finally got involved, for the first time ever.

  (i couldn't last year because i needed plausible deniability, as i was still a jw on paper at the time.

  Good for you!!

  The Pollyanna at work was the first xmas activity that I participated in after 'waking up." It was nice to give gifts and revel in the holiday spirit. Not at all like grim and evil like we were led to believe.

  do you miss anything from when you were a jw?

  a few of my friends who also used to be jw's, say they miss certain things abt it...i can honestly say that i don't miss a single thing (my sister obviously who's still in but nothing else).. before i could sometimes miss having such a strong belief but that's also gone.

  i guess i've moved on big time.

  I miss my wasted youth.

  Me too

  I also miss getting dressed, i have a closet full of dresses, suits and heels that I just can't part with yet.

  Although the programs are dull and boring, I miss the social aspect of the DC's and CA's. The getting together with friends and family, meeting new people, the 'faux' unity...good times.

  return visit with my jw barber today

  as i sit down i see wt books on the counter.

  after the hair cut the barber agreed it look up some of the stuff i told him.

  i agreed , it don't make it true , but most everything on those sites is on the wts cd.

  That 'harmless' 65YO had his WT books on display for either show how 'spiritual' he is or as an opening to witness to every client that sits in his chair. JYD skillfully turned the tables on him.
