Her friends have labeled her bipolar. Is this her confirmed mental health/medical diagnosis? If so, the JW beliefs & mental state are not a good mix. Can you deal with that daily for the long haul?
i dont know where to start so why not at the beginning.
i was seeing this girl and we hit it off great chemistry.
it went from a physical to a deeper relationship.

hi people,.
i want as much data as possible on the effect of the internet on the time captured by the cult.. please answer the three following questions about yourself or about someone you know (for example, if your parents or grandparents were jw's and left).
1) were you raised as a jw, or did you convert?.
Raised
1989
2009
20 years
any takers?
we can pick a date and pull the plug?
lol .
This is great idea and I will participate by sending an anonymous DA letters to my local KH's. For those who are able, I like Rebel's suggestion of sending out a tweet/insagram post on 8/8 with corresponding hastags & links. This could be big!
it has been a long looong time since i posted on here, but never ceased reading all the posts and keeping up on the changes that have been going on!
but it just seems that now i have a need to get something off my chest, and this is the one place that will most definitely understand the topic at hand.
i have been disfellowshipped for about 8yrs now, and have dealt with the 'consequences' of that decision: all my so-called friends in the org left and i was also abandoned by my own family.
Excellent anti-witness Babygirl!
I like the idea of writing a letter to your parents. Perhaps the first letter should be an invitation to meet with them and talk it out. If that doesn't work, go with your original thoughts in a second letter. Have you been able to contact your sister since she is now out?
giving my speech.

the best day ever.. .
Congratulations!
i wanted to thank so many who have taken the time and effort to read and recommend captives of a concept over the past decade.. for those who have not seen it, there is an interview on youtube that may have helped some witnesses begin the process of getting the sense of the way the watchtower religion actually works.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5trkrpia-3q.

Thank you for the writing the book. Your book is one of many that I recommend to JW's when they are ready for TTAT.
in all my years of being a jw, one of the more annoying aspects to me was each year sitting through the service meeting review part about what was expected (see: demanded) behavior and policies that the rest of us rank and file were ordered to comply with to attend a district convention.
the minutia in this part and the over-reaching set of rules were enough to drive me into a lather of rage at the audacity of these people thinking they could and should control every single aspect of my attendance to this "free" and voluntary convention.
from what clothing i can wear on my trip to and from the convention city, to what clothing i can wear before and after each day of the convention, to what i should be doing after each day instead of eating dinner and enjoying some good times with good friends, to insisting on wearing a ridiculous name badge, to what i should eat for lunch and where i should eat lunch and what is the appropriate container to keep my lunch in, to .................. the list is endless!!!!!!!!
My pet-peeve with convention hotel list is that the recommended lodgings are far away from the venue. When I realized that the hotels closer to the venue had the same rates as those on the WT list (and I could use/earn rewards), I stopped waiting for list and reserved my room when the DC dates became known.
okay, some good takeaway:.
i have never been to a convention quite like this before.
a very friendly vibe all around, lots of banners and posters with sayings like "sending love to all our brothers", "see you in the paradise", "ecuador sends greetings", and "jehovahs-witness.net" (okay, i lied on that last one...).
Nice synopsis....thx!
incredible.
absolutely incredible.
so i asked, " isn't it 100 years since 1914 ?
I foresee a Google search in her future...great job Flip!
