How do you organize your music collection?

seems no matter how hard i try, it winds up all shuffled up, cd covers lost, inserts pulled out, and a pile of loose cd's because who ever is listening never puts them back.. if a few are out no problem.

right now i am working on about 300 loose cd's with run away covers.. i must be doing something wrong.. do you organize by the type of music...like classical, rock, jazz,....?

do you just do it by alpha?

No... The original broadway cast. Sorely missing Topol, but otherwise I much prefer it (musically) to the movie. (I the movie, though. )

Hmmm... Thats a though. If its just your kids that are messing with your CDs, you can always use one of those sounds that you lose the ability to hear as you grow older... They played one in our physics of sound class to demonstrate... Actually managed to scare away a tour group that happened to look in the lecture hall at the wrong moment. Its as annoying as anything if you can hear it, but I think you can't after, like, 25-30.

I assume from the context that there is an entire family involved in the mess. LoL. Its always easy to take care of your own toys... Its when other people start playing with them that you start having problems.

FTR, its illegal to rip a CD and then sell or give away the CD while keeping the .MP3 copy.

I rip all my CDs to my laptop, and then keep my CDs in a giant binder along with some movies/video games... Not really in any particular order. The cases I have stuck in a box somewhere back home.

Just don't forget to backup the music if you don't have the CD anymore!!! (That's how I lost my Fiddler on the Roof original cast recording... )

You know... Its becoming so obvious to me the way they use guilt and fear to control... I can hardly read that article without becoming guilty and fearful, despite knowing its a bunch of hogwash. LoL. I think the comment on giving "all your money" especially funny... and disturbing at the same time...

i've noticed that when a bible study is conducted, when worldly people have questions a lot of jws say that there question is covered later in the book.

that way, the worldlys get stopped in there tracks all the while feeling like there questions are getting answered while the assimilation takes place.. they either forget there question or the book tells them what the answer is without either giving them biblical proof or twisting scriptures.

i've noticed a lot of paragraphs in books just telling people what the answer is without scriptures or saying something like, "surely it would make sense that...".

I remember when I was young and going in the door to door ministry I used to avoid "touchy subjects" like the plague. It never occured to me that not talking about disfellowshipping and such was just a way to control people by not letting them know all the information until they were already in.

Fortunately, I was never a very successful minister.

Has anyone got any experience of Autism ?

My ex was in the autistic spectrum (part of the reason why I let her get away with a lot of the stuff she did to me... <_<), and I once helped out at a birthday party where there were a large number of children with autism. They were awesome.

EDIT: Took out some faulty arguments I made because out of haste about the swine flu ingredients. I will say that some of the vaccines, at least, contain none of those ingredients.

There are autistic Amish children... They're just remarkably few and far between.

if time is infinite, how can we be alive now?

wouldnt everything that can happen have happened already?

given an infinite amount of time, wouldnt the sun have burned out and the universe reached the ultimate state of entropy?

Time is a location, with coordinates stretching infinitely in both directions. Asking why we exist now instead of then is like asking why we exist here instead of over there. LoL. For that matter, how do we know that we DON'T exist then? Our "0" or now is a completely arbitrary point.

I don't know about other people, but I like this topic.
