  Is this how all door knocking is now?

  i was prompted to join this site as i got a knock on the door a couple of days ago.. no, when i went door knocking 20 years ago - although admittedly i was a child - the sales patter went like this.

  are the feinds really following the counsel not to holds or cuddle during the prayer?.

  OH MY GOODNESS!! are you serious??? i would love to have that kingdom ministry or a link to it or something...if supposedly EVERYONE is having their eyes closed why would this even come up?

  BIG talk with teenage son today

  yesterday i got to ask my kids what they thought of the convention they just had.

  response was 'really good'.

  daughter liked the drama but could not say why or what the lesson was... so i figure she liked it because it was more interesting than the regular talks.

  make sure when you show him the "history" and the wt quotes you show him the whole article because the wt quotes may be taken out of context and explain to him that some of what jw taught "back in the days" may not be valid...because of what jws taught back in the days may not be valid anymore...

  i'm praying your son makes his own decision and whatever path he takes leads him eventually to the right one...

  i did my own research on outside sites and came to my own conclusion as well....

  wikipedia....ANYONE can make up stuff....even anyone on the internet as well....just because it's on the internet doesn't make it true...anyone has a creative mind

  No more ordering X amount of Watchtowers per publisher at the book room.

  i was listening in last night and heard a special letter being read.. the speaker was so excited reading it.

  it basically said that from now on they will leave a stack of watchtowers on the counter at the kh and each publisher should take what they need for the week and bring back the ones they didn't use.

  if they run out they should use their old copies they have at home.... effective immediately.. .

  im thinking the reason why they are doing this is because everyone who has internet access can now download the copies themselves from the official site

  Just a short observation on my Bible study.

  i thought it would be fun to say yes to a weekly bible study just to see how far i could go in undermining the j.w.

  beliefs, also to be honest i thought it would make a family member happy.

  so i slowly and methodically refuted and questioned all the nutty things that my study teacher, or whatever he's called, tried to throw at me over a period of about 4 months.

  if you really want a witness to study with you through the bible ONLY no watchtowers or witness books call your local kingdom hall and ask for a witness who is experienced in that...i've known someone personally who is a witness now and he started out with an actual BIBLE STUDY with no watchtowers or witness books JUST the Bible....he went to the local hall left a note and said that he wants to be contacted...an elder studied with him through ONLY THE BIBLE, and nothing else...there are witnesses out there that are experienced in bible studies in ONLY THE BIBLE and nothing else. ..

  i would have to say on the tv and internet about knowing about natural disasters...of how it just "appears" that the natural disasters are increasing because we have the tv and the internet to let us know and how there were supposed to be lots of natural disasters back in the days before tv and the internet...well...here's one of how they can find out about natural disasters....NEWSPAPERS...take usa today for instance...thats in all parts of the united states...telephones....letter writings....that people can find out about the natural disasters...also...if you guys do want to prove that the natural disasters as we seem to be seeing them more day by day and not known about them like back in the days...if you guys want to prove to the witnesses that the amount of natural disasters that we have today are just like it was how many so years ago you guys want to prove to them that x amount of natural disasters have been around for x amount of years and not just today....recently...whatever u want to call it...you need to do your natural disaster research and actually find out how many natural disasters there have been each year and such if you want to prove to them that it has been going on since whatever year you want to come up with..do your research print it up on computer from the actual source that you seen it put refererences on there and such

  ok...the reason why i asked is last year before the convention of where i live i was able to see the creation dvd....so it can't be the creation dvd this year...that was soooo last year...lol...the cover of song book...the bible new brochure and the cover of the new publication i forgot what its called...but i think it had to do with firmly witnessing i guess?? not sure...anyways i was able to see the previews of what was to come before the convention last year...oh yeah...the new song book as well..so i wasn't sure if it was because someone went to convention and posted or someone knew someone from bethel and was able to post it..

  my 3 day convention is in early july

  Got to Mess with some Witlesses on my Vacation

  so this last week i went to visit a very dear friend of mine about 21 hours away.

  she is one of the two people i have had a major hand in helping to see the bullshit of the watchtower religion.

  in any case, as we were driving through a neighborhood, guess what we saw.

  this is coming from someone i know that was a bethelite and even have friends that are bethelites that that was going around but the gb i guess you guys call them or whoever took care of the issue...thats not to say there are some "apostates" still around at headquarters or anything...
