Long time Australian dissident Paul Grundy has finally seen the light.
This epiphany came about as a result of comparing Watchtower teachings and practices with those of Scientology.
For Paul this was like comparing night with day...

if the watchtower corporation and the jehovah's witnesses were really the faithful & discrete slave active today, they wouldn't be full of bullshit .. this is a logical statement given the history of this religious institute / publishing house.
i said it before and i'll say it again, that the majority of the doctrines created by the wts were intensionally focused toward enhancing the proliferation of the wts own publications.
this has been a constant underlining agenda for the wts all throughout the last century, the end of the 19th century and still to this day.

it just seems to me religion in general primarily makes truly bad people worse, not genuinly good people better; and in many cases has even made good people do bad things in the name of their religion.
just curious, a personal poll if you will.
what are you guys' current views on religion as a whole?

For me, religion is the arsenic in the honey.
Personally I have found what I've been looking for my whole life, in faith and spirituality, which to me are the very opposite of religion.
i must say that i have always loved jehovah and his son jesus christ.
i have a 12 inch diameter telescope.
i would go outside and listen to the psalms that praised to my god.

ok guys, this is long, so i am sorry, but i think it is important to publish.
this is a glimpse into a 4 page letter (love that song) from my uber elder uncle.
as some of you may know i got tired of being in an email chain and finally lost it and lashed out.
He can write a 4-page diatribe, but cannot answer a simple question?

Methinks something stinks...
this site has gone through many metamorphosis over the years.
i believe it is a kinder, less edgy place tan it was a few years ago.
i wonder how many people were helped versus turned off by this place.
The majority on JWC I believe are just great, helpful, kind and sharing - especially the lurkers who would rather not risk being speaking up.
It seems to help if one can accept that the minority do not represent the majority.
