i didn't know eric particularly well, and i feel terrible that i didn't reach out to him more or try to help him while i still had the opportunity.. i feel extremely helpless, but the least i can do is help others remember him who knew him better.. here is a video i've uploaded to youtube in his honor.... .

last night i got a called from a lovely chap from the board named barry from australia.
it was a lovely conversation.
i even got to hear his kids and wife in the background.
I also love Skype!
I can see and talk each day to my daughter and my grandson, (they are leaving far from us) follow his improvements, see him while he started to walk, when he started eating and drinking by himself, when he plays with their cat, when he tries to formulate words and sentencies...well.. I'm so glad, the distance seems to be shorter. A very big THANKS to Skype!

in 1517, martin luther wrote in a letter to archbishop albert of mainz: you must graciously forgive that i, that scum of the earth, am so bold as to dare to address a letter to you.. yes, i know, you think of me as scum, just like mainz believed of luther, wondering how i dare write you a letter, someone jehovahs witnesses disfellowshipped back in 2002. i was accused of being an unrepentant sinner and condemned for causing divisions, then labeled apostate because i spoke out publicly on nbcs dateline tv program aboutthe child sexual abuse policies that protected pedophiles policies that you helped formulate.
I have translated your letter Barbara, in italian and french and post it in forums and will distribute to friends all around, encouraging them to let it know all around.
Perhaps, D.S. to whom the letter was addressed will read it, perhaps he will react… perhaps not…who cares? This is an open letter to EVERYBODY, around us, the “mentally diseased” and we have to remind the WT that “should treat others as she wants to be treated”, since they forgot that this is a Christian teaching!
The point is not if the GB will read it, the point is that through Barbara's letter and US ALL, it will be advertised which sort of “religion” this is!!!!

it has been a long time since i have posted.
time heals much pain, and finally, my family and i have been able to move on with our life outside of jw land.. many of you became our friends, our support system, and you know very well our exit story...we were labeled, slandered and disfellowshipped for having questions regarding the date 607. we sent out letters exposing the elders and circuit overseer to over 200 families.
Hi, Your story looks like our, when we were loyal JW and had to suffer of lies and slander on our subject in the congregation.....months of sadness and unhappiness! But since we are out, we enjoy a freedom never experienced during our life!
What a good news about Ashley, wish her lot of satisfaction and success!
Also my youngest daughter has a so nice voice, I encourage her to have Singing lessons, al least she still can…I also had wished to have this kind of lessons but it was not allowed for an elder’s wife…

The CD is hardly working on a natural bound, familiar ties, in order to destroy it.
If the young person, disfellowshipped during 10 years, is a true person,( not an invented one…) he needed 10 years to realize how his family was missing? During 10 years you cannot find friends o relationships that can replace a family who acted so badly toward you????
I guess how my family will react when I will be visiting their place in May, sure they will not invite us because my husband is disfellowshipped, sure they will not accept to dine in a restaurant with us, will they accept to see me and him and talk to us?
