My suggestion to you... you really need to know how to answer all the serious questions posed on this board. If you can't back up what your religion teaches, you really don't have anything. Worse yet, if you don't even know what your religion teaches... ex. 1919, then how can you claim you have truth? (All Jehovah's Witness claim they have the truth... they even call it, "The Truth." So don't bother denying it.)

In order to properly defend a belief, you must be able to know and anticipate both sides of the discussion. Fred, you've demonstrated you really don't have a grasp on what your religion teaches. Anybody can go through the bible index and quote a scripture. The whole time I was a Jehovah's Witness, I did that. That doesn't mean I could defend or teach the Jehovah's Witness Religion.

I can promise you, if you are serious and truly research what Jehovah's Witnesses teach, you will find it is just a waste of time trying to make sense of something that can't support its own beliefs.

On the other hand, Jehovah's Witnesses are a great religion for the gullible and uneducated.

What do I need to prove to you? This is not the ask jayhawk1 a question thread. This is the ask Fred E Hathaway thread.

If JW's teach that to be the year in their publications, then that's what they teach in the streets. I have faith, after all, that they know what to put, when to put it.

If... what do you mean if? That is what they teach. You will find it in the Revelation Grand Climax book. The very same book you are reading at the Kingdom Hall for weekly Book Study. Don't you think it's about time you found out why they teach that and learn how to back up your beliefs you claim you have?

I was just telling Sixy that today I decided to give up men. Strictly women for me. No beer, no wine, and furthermore become a raging druggy. I think I will go to memorial and perhaps get closer to God. All the while wasting morgage money on plastic surgery and rob a few local charities to support my new crack habit. Did I mention become a die hard Republican? I might even shave my head for attention!

Do you believe Jesus chose Watchtower in 1919 and what's your proof?
No. I know no person or organization with that exact legal name.

The Watchtower Society teaches their orginization was chosen during that year regardless of what their legal name is. How do they and you know this is true?

(I know you are being a smart-ass about this, but for the record... on this board I am known as jayhawk1. Jayhawk1 is not my legal name, but I respond to it. The International Bible Students and Watchtower are appropriate names for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania.)

How many times have we all heard that one? Fred, let me ask... How does it make any sense for a perfect all-knowing eternal god like Jehovah to allow his prophet-class on Earth to continue to guess at what Jehovah wants? And when his prophet-class guesses wrong, which happens again and again, it makes Jehovah look like a liar.

Now I'm sure your scapegoat answer will be something like, "I don't know what Jehovah is thinking." But if that was the case, how would the Bible authors know what Jehovah is thinking?

So if the Bible authors knew what Jehovah was thinking, why doesn't the Watchtower Society know what Jehovah is thinking?

As wrong about everything as Watchtower has been proves they don't have Jehovah's backing.

In other words...

PROVE TO ME THEY HAVE BEEN RIGHT ABOUT ANY PROPHECY THEY TEACH.

IF YOU HAVE THE TRUTH, PROVE TO ME THEY HAVE HAD JESUS/JEHOVAH'S BACKING SINCE 1919.

PROVE TO ME THE ANOINTED WAS SEALED DURING THE 1930'S.

PROVE TO ME THE SEVEN TRUMPET BLASTS BEGAN WITH THE CEDAR POINT OHIO CONVENTION IN THE 1920'S.

IF YOU HAVE THE TRUTH, NONE OF THESE CHALLENGES WOULD BE HARD FOR YOU OR ANY OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES TO DO.
