First I a proud to be American.

Secondly, regarding the legalizing of gay marriages will happen, and I believe it will happen very soon. What is my reason for saying this? Simple, where is the biggest percentage of gays living in the U.S.?

San Francisco?

No.

San Diego?

No.

It is Dallas! That is right, one of the most conservative Republican states in the Union. Texas usually votes Republican, and I believe there is a large number of "closet homosexuals" who are also Republican. I would say in the next 20-25 years changes in law will occur. I think as time goes on, and more people see that a gay person is just as normal as a hetrosexual, things will change.

Keep in mind, I am not defending the Jehovah's Witnesses, because I wish they would just go away. I am sure they feel the same about me. That being said, here are my observations.

This tells me that the number of publishers has continued to climb, but the number of people getting baptized is going down. Am I right?

This tells me again that the average number of publishers is going up, but there has not been as many become publishers in recent years. Did I read this right?

This tells me that the number of hours spent in service has increased, however the number of hours each person contributed decreased. Again, did I read this data correctly?

The memorial attendence vs partakers seems obvious. New people all the time claim to be anointed. The anointed who were alive in 1914 are supposed to be the ones eating the emblems. The 8,650 people (give or take) eating the food today can't possably be the same people eating it in 1987.

Some of the other charts just back up the ones I posted by breaking the stats down by countries. And other charts compare pioneers vs publishers. Stuff I could care less about. But that does not change this fact.

There are more Jehovah's Witnesses today than ever before. Sure, fewer people are becoming JWs. Furthermore, unless I am missing something, just because the number of people it takes to make one JW is up, does not change the fact that more people believe (or pretend to believe) their crap than ever. Perhaps somebody can point out where I went wrong on what I read, if I somehow misinterpreted the graphs.

WHAT is the punishment for 'eating' BLOOD?

i read this atricle recently that sums up rather nicely why the watchtower stance on blood transfusions is innaccurate and deadly.. please read this for information before taking your position on the issue & i would welcome any comments:.

That was a well thought our article. It could have been expanded more by quoting Awake articles on the subject of blood. And also any related Questions From Readers in the Watchtower. What I would love to ask a Governing Body member is why does the blood fraction guidelines keep changing? I know why it does, because the blood policy is a bad policy. I just want the Governing Body to admit it.

Just a side thought. I always had trouble defending the blood policy to people outside of my former faith. I hope the policy keeps evolving until it no longer exists.

in the case of silent lambs versus the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses.. did you ever think that discussing these cases here accompanied by your vitriole against all things watchtower could be used to:.

1. show that ex jehovahs witnesses harbor such a hatred for the watchtower society that they will say anything to discredit them.. 2. show that there is a network of ex jehovahs witnesses that may have helped to create these abuse accusations in the alledged victims' minds or at least have encouraged them, even unwittingly, to exaggerate their claims.. i guarantee you that the watchtower society has documented every word anyone here has said, especially on this issue.

i can easily see a defense team using it to, if not exonerate accused molesters and the watchtower society, to at least create a reasonable doubt regarding their guilt.. if your hatred of the watchtower causes you to join in irrational behavior and accusations, you have to contemplate the fact that you may be adding to the future grief of any real victims.. i present this for your thoughtful consideration.. as always, i wish all here peace.. joel

Dear Joelbear the born again Jehovah's Witness,

I don't hate Jehovah's Witnesses, just the Watchtower Society that lied to them.

All they have to do is:
1) tell the truth
2) stop shunning
and
3) fix the blood policy

In other words, become mainstream.

If they can't do that, then:
4) the Watchtower Society can go away

Now does that sound like I hate the average Jehovah's Witness or just the people who burden the flock.
