Does anybody else want to add their experiences?
Good or Bad? Should a person do it or not? Anything?

GermanJW and Flower,
It takes at least a year of no contact what-so-ever to get the guilt out of your system. In talking on the phone to AlanF he said he still has moments when the JW programming comes back and haunts him, and he has been gone for around two decades. All I can say is hang in there, you will have your good days and bad days.

drahcir yarrum, or is that Richard Murray?
I heard about the experience you speak of.
Here is a little more about my dating history. I went to Bogota Columbia much like that man going to Russia. I admit I had a wonderful time meeting women, but I decided bringing back a woman from there would not be a good idea. The women seemed more interested in leaving than the men they were meeting.
What can I say, before I left the JWs, I was a workaholic. Work was my only way of excaping my life as a JW. When I left, I needed a vacation, and I wanted to meet women so I went to Columbia. I had fun and I got some much needed rest. I was able to come back with a clear head and was able to make the decisions necessary that would affect my life. Decisions I don't regret.

hello everyone.
i would like to share this with you.in the daily mail newspaper today there was an article about a woman who was so fed up of the jws calling at her home(which they have done for the past 12yrs)she decided to stop them once and for all, each time they called she told them she was not interested but they still came,so,the other day she went to the kh whilst there was a service and knocked on the door until someone answered, when they did they were not amused, the woman then started to ask completely irrelevant questions, she remained there for about 30 minutes then the police arrived to remove her,she went quietly and said she did it to prove a point.. paul gillies, spokesman for the jws in britain, said "representives did stop calling at homes if asked",he says "if someone states they do not want a visit we make a note and avoid calling",he also says that "we go to peoples homes because we are obedient to jesus's message,we want to spread the word of jesus and offer bible studies.if people phone our national headquarters saying they didn't want visits we would contact their local congregation and let them know".. i hope you don't mind me sharing this with you guys

Don't tell me that your not wearing the pants in the house too.
It is hard to have sex with your pants on, so when Jessica is around the pants are off.
If you must know right now I have on sweat pants.

I thought a discussion about personal ads would be fun. I have dated many women by many different methods. Except I have never looked for women at a bar. For instance I met my soon-to-be-wife on an internet presonal ad. I had looked at it for about three days, and decided to write her. After about a month, of talking on the phone and writing each other we met, and we found the love we were after.
I have met other women the way I met Jessica. Some women I met this way I liked and some were trouble. My question is, has anybody else tried it? Has it been a success or failure? Would you do it again?
I will post some of my disasters later if this thread gets any interest.

an english professor wrote the words, "woman without her man is nothing," on.
the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.. the men wrote: "woman, without her man, is nothing.".
the women wrote: "woman!
Since I am a man, I see the sentence like the men wrote. Maybe we need the women to settle the debate about the comma on the cross debate.
Is it "Truly I tell you today, ...
