What attracts you to the JW religion?
How do you look past doctrinal flip flops and previous failed prophecies?
What is your take on blood fractions? How do you feel about Watchtower rewriting history to make their 607 BC / 1914 AD theory work?
Do you believe Jesus chose Watchtower in 1919 and what's your proof?
Could you please explain the seven trumpet blasts in Revelation and how Watchtower applies that to them during the late 1920's through early 1930's?
Are you satisfied with Watchtower's change to the meaning of "this Generation" in 1995? Why?

i was listening to richard dawkin's talk at lynchburg va and he was tlaking about how horrible the god of the old testament was- and he mentioned this: .

that when jeptha's daughter came out (and jeptha had promised god he'd sacrifice the first thing out of his house) that he had to sacrifice her as a burnt offering.

Follow the Watchtower's advise and get out of false religion. Don't touch the unclean thing! That would go for their stupid ritual of passing wine and crackers to each other.

for me, it was the un debacle.

their association and weak retreat was priceless.

after that, silentlambs ranks right up there.. of course, if it were not for ray franz, many of us would've never even thought about leaving!.

Learning about Malawae/Mexico policies, UN, 607, understanding the Generation change, 1975, child abuse... and more is what did it for me. I can't point to one particular thing that did it for me as I learned about all of these things pretty much at the same time.

As far as exposure to the world, I would say the Blood Fractions Policy would interest those in the medical fields, and the child abuse would interest a number of others.

Disfellowshipping - How long to return?

does anybody know how long it takes for one to get re-instated if you are not that well liked by the body of elders?

i was disfellowshiped for immorality almost 2 years ago.

with my job and attending college to keep in step with my field of work, i have only been attending the sunday talk & wt meeting every week.

At least one Application for Reinstatement is required to return as a member of the Congregation.

Where is that requirement in the Bible?
