no i'm not planning on a 2nd, but i just wanted to try to see what the fuss was about.. well can't see that i can, didn't make me feel sick or better to be honest.

Growing up a Jehovah's Witness - New Video

i have put together a video - growing up a jehovah's witness 1960 -2010. it aims to show the things a witnesses would be taught as they age over those decades.

it is 15 minutes long.

this is my first attempt at a video and it took a while to work out how to use final cut, so please feel free to make suggestions if anything should be changed.

I would suggest using Skype or simply having Lance record using a quality micophone or even a good head set.

if you get the logo channel/network/whatever there is a show called true life on right now (10pm edt) about interfaith couples.

one of the couples on the current episode is a normal guy whose wife is being brought into the borg.

scary stuff.. there's also a christian and a jew.

To the guy from the show....if you ever find this website, please read A LOT of the posts from those in your situation.....your actions only re-enforce her beliefs that all other christians are (wrong, immoral, bad, take your pick).

if you are a jw in the us or canada, you probably already know about "khconf".

it is a business that has been set up (presumably by some jws somewhere) that supplies call-in numbers and teleconferencing for shut-ins to listen to kingdom hall meetings.. they have their own website: www.khconf.com.. .

what i didn't know is how much they've spread!

At least they are up front about it. The price are reasonable, from what I have seen in the industry.

Truly, if faith moves you to untie your amulets and to strengthen your bond with Jehovah’s Witnesses in your community, you will soon join them in echoing the words of the ancient sons of Korah. They proclaimed: “God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses. Thatiswhyweshallnotfear.”—Psalm 46:1, 2; compare Romans 8:31.
