SPURIOUS TEACHING!!
by The Searcher inthe spurious teaching that a person's own death wipes out all their sins - based on the ludicrous assertion that romans 6:7 is meant literally!
- not only means means that christ's ransom sacrifice was pointless, (because simply by choking to death on a burger wipes out all your sins) but also benefits repentant people with what's called in the uk, buy one get one free.

The Stone the Builders Rejected
by sabastious inin the first post in this series i discussed the identity of the watchtower as per revelation 13. the second post dealt with the identity of the harlot and the scarlet beast.
this post will deal with the third element "the image of the beast", lets read revelation 13:15-17:.
the second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

THE SLAVE WHO LIVED TO SEE THE SIGN !!!!!!

Larsinger58
The "faithful and discreet slave" at the 2nd coming is Christ himself. The WTS is the "evil slave" and is cast out into spiritual darkness.
The true "faithful and discreet slave" is LAZARUS. The "rich man" is the WTS, who is out focussing on building new kingdom halls just as prophesied, they they themselves are on the chopping block, spiritually speaking.
In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, we see the rich man at the table and Lazarus longin for food. The rich man is the GB of JWs, in charge of spiritual food. But things change. Lazarus who had been unfaithful earlier ends up being more faithful than the GB and their positions are switched. Now we see the rich man in torment but Lazarus is in the bosom position of the father, which means he has become the Christ!
So in the end, the GB ends up being the evil slave and Lazarus ends up being the "faithful and discreet slave." BUT since Lazarus also becomes the physical identity of the Christ, it turns out the FDS is Christ himself! Of course, obviously, how appropriate would it be for Christ himself to be in charge of all of God's belongings?
So, IOW, the ultimate "faithful and discreet slave" is none other than Christ hismelf. Which means moi! Neat, huh?
I"M the faithful and discreet slave! I hadn't really given that much thought. But now that that is crystallized, I'm quite pleased!

HYPOTHETICAL #2: Definitely not, that brother cannot just baptize his brother. He has to go through the baptism book and answer all the questions. That baptism would not be recognized by the WTS, although, it may indeed be recognized by Jehovah, if this was a sincere gesture!
Further, this addresses the significance of "baptism" itself versus one's relationship with God. If this man was truly turning to God, he wouldn't need to be baptized. God would accept him without that formal condition. Jehovah would recognize the baptism of the heart and spirit. That is more important than the SYMBOL of that life change, the actual baptism.
But WTS rules and what the Bible says are often in conflict. In this case, though, a truly mature brother would never even think of performing a sentimental baptism. What should be done is to rush him through the baptism book and questions and see if he agrees and then allow one of the elders to baptize him. But within the WTS, the baptism isn't legit unless he qualifies and that means answering all those questions. Of course, ask anyone here and they'll tell you he's much better off not getting baptized in a cult anyway!! The WTS is an apostate, false religion now anyway, particularly after 1996, so as far as Jehovah is concerned, which is the concern, since Jehovah provides life, not the WTS, it wouldn't matter if he was formally baptized or not. Jehovah has the ability to read the heart.
HYPOTHETICAL #3: ROFL! Is this a real question? You're talking about someone of the anointed who would be considered a renegade anointed if he thought like that. But this scenario doesn't really make sense.
For one, a true, faithful JW anointed one, would know the rules and it would not likely occur to him that the act of baptism had any significance if the foundation wasn't there. Christendom might think so, but no witness. Baptism is a "symbol" of the dedication. If the dedication and understanding is not there, the baptism has no meaning. Unless, of course, the pool is filled with holy water from the local Catholic Church! (Just kidding!)
Second, there are renegade anointed ones! They are secretive though. The parable of the "ten virgins" applies to the anointed ones of JWs. Half are wise and use the Bible as authority over the Watchtower; half are "foolish" and are like #1, follow the WTS! But in the case of the true anointed ones, the wise virgins, at one point, they separate from the foolish virgins and don't tell them what is going on. They do not sare any of their extra oil with the foolish virgins. Thus they keep secret that they have left the WTS, spiritually. But these know the WTS is apostate and so would never think of baptising any potential honest Christian into a false religion. In fact, they'd do their best to get them away from the WTS. Plus they'd tell their relative, it is not necessary to get baptized into any religion now, since they are all apostate now, including the WTS! Again, the question is, what is the purpose of an empty baptismal act if there is no meaning behind it?
HYPOTHETICAL #4: If the boy's father is an elder or ministerial servant, I'm sure the congregation would be happy to allow the father to baptize his son. But if his father is not in good standing, then I'm sure there would be objections.
Nice hypotheticals. We all need to examine where our feelings are and what the Bible says and some of these twisters help us to sort that all out.
Again, per the bible, HALF the anointed have spiritually separated themselves with the WTS which is the congregation of the rejected, "foolish virgins" who have lost their seats in the kingdom. They were not paying attention and too focussed on the easy life of following the WTS rather than focussing on bible truth. But some have to still be active witnesses since they can't tell the "foolish virgins" what is going on.
Even so, at this point, getting baptized as a witness is probably a bad mistake!!

1. Hypothetically, he should quit the military immediately, since Armageddon is coming soon and all that retirement money wouldn't do him any good anyway. He'd be a wonderful example to the brothers.
Now I have a personal experience that you might light as a real hypothetical. This brother has been disrfellowshipped for years and had been living with one particular woman whom he loves for several years. Both have background in the truth and so now that he is in a position to repent and resolve his living in sin with this woman, he gets married to her and applies for reinstatement. He's very happy to be getting back to a good standing with the organization, which he interprets as a good standing with Jehovah. But, there's a crinkle! Turns out he got married in Las Vegas to some girlfriend whom he later broke up with, but never got a formal divorce. So technically, he's married to this other woman. No problem, he is now seeking to get an "annulment." BUT now the question is, since his new marriage is not legal until the previous one is annulled or he gets a divorce, should he stop having sex with his new girlfriend until his marriage situation is resolved?
But its a simple answer. Same as above #1. If this person truly was repentant and loved Jehovah and was willing to do anything to get back into Jehovah's favor, he would stop committing fornication, right? Right! If he doesn't stop living with this woman, then what's the point of repenting? Claiming he has changed his life? Maybe this is his true test of repentance. What good is his request for reinstatement if the brothers don't see him as sincere? Clearly, if he continues to live with this woman in sin, then his devotion to the organization/Jehovah is phony. It's a convenience to get back into the truth now that he has settled with one woman and now, after many years, he's probably too old to enjoy the sinful lifestyle he had before.
So we are all tested in many ways. What we must realize, is that test is to the DEATH. That means if you try to cut corners and you try to hold on to this life, your soul and its desires, then you will lose it. But if you give up your soul, that is, you are whole-souled and pleasing Jehovah means everything to you, even more than a wife or a child, then Jehovah will accept that and grant you eternal life. But if you try to skirt the fence, trying to keep a few pleasures of this life and give a blemished sacrifice to Jehovah, then he will reject you. Your sacrifice is not whole-souled.There are lots of "hypotheticals" out there, but usually one can tell what one's true priorities are.
Another very similar situation was that of a woman who had basically decided to be with a man after her husband had died. She would gladly marry him and certainly accepted the truth as presented by JWs, but she was getting a nice pension from her previous husband, which would be cut off if she married someone else. So that is why she hadn't married him formally in the first place. But the money and security was too much to give up, so she never got baptized. Of course, she could have decided to separate from that man and live a single life if she wanted the money that bad. That way, she could have the truth AND the money. So really, it wasn't about giving up her livelihood, but giving up that man. Her choice was to have the money and the truth, or to have the man and the money. She made her choice. It was clear what was more important to her.

TWO WITNESSES KILLED BY THE UN, AS BIBLE SAYS WAS FULFILLED:
Just for the record, since you were questioning how the 'two witnesses" were not killed in connection with WTS leaders in the 1914-1918 period, the actual fulfillment did take place.
First, you have to use the VAT4956 to correct the timeline. Darius I was so afriad of revisionists that he told his story on a sheer cliff at Behistun in three different languages, one which was already extinct! So revisionism was simple back then. You only had to state something and who could check it? Astronomy, though, is something you can't manipulate that easily, so once the Persians had added 82 fake years to their records, they were in conflict with the astronomical texts from the NB Period. So the decision was made to destroy these records during the Seleucid Period. To preserve some references to the original timeline, though, "diaries"like the VAT4956 and the SK400 were created which created a context for many references that aligned with the new timeline, while at the same time, at critical points, introducing observations from the original timeline, something only an astronomer would notice. Thus the "errors" in Lines 3 and 14 of the VAT4956 which don't match the revised date of 568 BCE, do match the Biblical date for year 37 of Nebuchadnezzar II, which is 511 BCE. That is, per the Bible, the 1st of Cyrus should have fallen in 455 BCE. Add 70 years back to the last deportation, year 23 of Neb2, and you get 525 BCE for year 23. Year 37 would fall in 511 BCE, which are the matched lunar observations we find in Lines 3 and 14 of the VAT4956. This "double-dating" proves568 BCE was the fabricated date and 511 BCE was the orignial date, thus agreeing with the Bible. Having noted that, year 19 falls in 529 BCE and so 2520 years later dates the 2nd coming in 1992.
Now. You have a choice. You can can face reality and use the Biblical and corrected secular dates for the NB period, which gives you 1992 as the date of the second coming, or you can dismiss the Bible as not true. BUT here is what actually happened:
The "two witnesses" prophesied about the date of the 2nd coming for 3.5 years, 1260 days. This would be the first 3.5 years of the 70th week which begins in 1989 and ends in 1996. The WTS is opposed to the teachings of these "two witnessess" but are aware of their prophesying that the messiah would arrive in the body of a black man. This takes on even more significance since these anointed ones claim to have seen the "sign of the son of man" which is the image of a sleeping (dead) black infant's face seen in the clouds. We know this because the WTS shows this image in the hand of Jesus in the Revelation Book, which came out in 1988.
Now it gets to be more fascinating. The scarlet-colored while beast is the entity that kills the two witnesses. Guess who was a member of the UN in 1992? Right, the WTS! Now don't be alarmed at UN agents operating in the US. The UN uses their network of local Freemasons to carry out their dirty work. At any rate, Fred Franz knew who the Christ would be because he was sent a letter on November 10, 1992 which essentially disfellowshipped the GB and told them they were the "evil slave" and the 'man of lawlessness." The person who wrote this letter was one of the anointed who called himself, "the Watchman." Franz, expecting the Christ to arrive on December21, 1992, per the witnessing of the "two witnesses" now coordinating his efforts to suppress this with UN agents, must have tipped them off who the person was who would become the Christ. No, it wasn't necessary to put out a hit on him to prevent the second coming. But as the Bible says, the UN was allowed to interrupt the 2nd coming for 3.5 days and kill the two witnesses, that is, kill their witnessing since the Christ did not take up the physical body of this anointed one on December21st as planned. But don't lose sight of this fulfillment. That is, the UN and the WTS are one in the same entity at this point! How did the UN agents interrupt the 2nd coming for 3.5 days? Well, they used alchemy -- witchcraft. They understood the new messiah would have to be in a trance for two days, so all that was necessary was to keep this person awake. They could do this with air-born inhalants masked by perfume. This was a good plan, because it is difficult to avoid not inhaling some woman's strong perfume. Of course, it goes without saying that inhalants are used to ingest certain drugs, and certain inhalants can even kill you.
So, the UN agents were able to prevent the 2nd coming on the 21st. This killed the two witnesses and their witnessing. But their bodies were not buried. Meaning, they had a back-up plan for the 2nd coming to occur. In the meantime, the "nations" spoken of rejoicing would have been the WTS and those who knew about these secret spiritual things going on in relation to the messiah at the second coming. Also, all those secret agencies from the UN. But Fred Franz' laughter and joy was short lived because Jehovah executed him the very next day on the 22nd! The "two witnesses" took advantage of the skeleton crew on watch on Christmas Eve to smuggle the messiah out of a motel right at midnight, when there was a shift change and either one agent left a little early or his replacement was just a bit late. The messiah was guided through the night by flashing Christmas lights to where a metal commerical dumpster was, which was a safe place from any tracking devices the UN had planted in the clothing or on the person of the messiah. So hidden from the UN agents, 3.5 days after the original date for the 2nd coming, the 2nd coming did take place on December 25, 1992.
Now I know this is hard to accept by just my relating this. But that is what actually happened and that is how the UN is involved. So all the details of this prophecy did indeed come true. After the kingdom was established in heaven and Satan kicked out, leaving a place for the anointed of Christ, of course, you see the "two witnesses" being called up to heaven 3.5 days after their death.
So, JUST IN CASE the WTS' false deceptions are causing you to second-guess the Bible, you don't have to let that happen. You have the true fulfillment and the true dates, which you can investigate on your own.
But also note that the letter sent on November 10, has fulfillment of the 1290 days. That is, when the "disgusting thing" is exposed. Keep in mind that the "man of lawlessness" must be revealed before the 2nd coming. This was fulfilled by telling the GB that they were the "man of lawlessness"! This ended the 1290 days. Then exactly 45 days later, on December 25, 1992, the second coming took place, fulfilling the "1335 days"!
Thus this important event is fulfilled twice, once for the Jews and once for the Christians. The Christian fulfillment is actual days, but the Jewish fulfillment is "a day for a year." Thus for the Jews, the 1290 days ends in 1947. That's when the end of their tribulation ends, the official end of their exile on November 30, 1947. So for them, their messiah would arrive 45 years later, thus sometime between November 30, 1992 and Novembeer 30, 1993. So that was fulfilled as well.
Quite wonderful and quite fascinating -- but quite private. Who can believe all this?
Too hard for you to believe? Not to worry, it was designed that way, so that really only the elect would accept this; outsiders can't accept it even though the elect know the Bible is true and all this is fulfilled. But not what the Bible says:
ACTS 13:41 "Behold it, you scorners, and wonder at it, and vanish away, because I am working a work in your days, a work that you will by no means believe even if anyone relates it to you in detail."
So the elect understand the Bible is true and all this is fulfilled, but outsiders will probably not accept the Bible is really true until Armageddon starts, unfortunately. But that is how Jehovah designed it. The bright light of truth are for the select elect, primarily, and within the WTS setting since the WTS is the true "temple in its right condition" sect from 1886-1996.

Well it took them until 1943 to work out that 606 BCE plus 2520 years ends at 1915 CE so they just changed 606 to 607 to give them the answer they needed.
Nothing surprises me anymore other than the fact I fell this twaddle for so long.
George
Hi George, in defense of the WTS, since this is a key point for you, i just wanted to note that the 606 vs 607 BCE adjustment was done empirically when they noted that there was no Roman zero year. The WTS has always focussed on 1914 and counted 2520 years backward which originally gave them 606 BCE (2520-1914=606 BCE), But BCE dates are off one year because there is no zero year. Thus the BC years start after 1 AD. So based on that, 606 BCE was an incorrect BCE date since when calculated with a zero year, that's what you get. When you remove one year for no Roman zero year then the date increases by 1, thus the correct date 2520 years would be 607 BCE rather than 606 BCE.
So in defense of the WTS, which is rare, they were not to their old tricks of twisting and manipulating dates as usual this time, but simply correcting a previous error. It wasn't as you implied, that 606 BCE didn't work since it pointed to 1915 so they made the adjustment to make 1914 work. 1914 was always the pivotal date upon which the fall of Jerusalem is based.
But, that doesn't let them off for twisting and deceiving regarding 607 BCE. Case in point, they quote from Josephus regarding a 23-year campaign that they claim must have produced the last deportation from surrounding nations that year. But Josephus is quite clear that the Jews deported in year 23 were the last remnant of Jews who had ran down to Egypt. We know the WTS knows about this because they go out of their way to claim those last deported were those from surrounding nations. If they were honest enough to follow Josephus, whom they quoted, they would have known where those of the last deportation came from. But you see, that would be too tricky for the witnesses who were told that the land was desolated from the time of the destruction of Jerusalem with no one passing through. Once you realize the last deportees were out of Egypt, including Jeremiah and Baruch, of course, then it would raise the issue of people trekking back through Judea to get to Babylon! Thus, the 70 years of exile would not have begun until the last deportation, year 23, which Josephus claims anyway! Plus, the Bible clearly notes that a small remnant of those who escaped the sword from down in Egypt would return to Judea! (Jeremkiah 44:14,28)So, by no means is the WTS not the lying and deceptive false prophets they were prophesied to be, but in the cases of 607 vs 606, it just involved a simple correction --606 BCE was simply the incorrect BCE date that is 2520 years from 1914. But it doesn't matter one bit since the 70 years of exile don't begin until year 23 of Nebuchadnezzar and not the year Jerusalem fell. There were still people in Judea in the 23rd year, if only for a short while before being deported to Babylon that same year, something the Bible teaches and is confirmed by the history of Josephus!

What is more critical is that all witnesses should know that the first interpretation of the "1335 days" was linked to a major event, that of the second coming! That's right! 539 AD + 1335 = 1874! So the Bible Students thought the 1335 days was the date of the second coming! I guess after 1874 passed without a visible second coming, they began to focus on 1914 as the second coming, but there was not relevance for it fulfilling the "1335 days" as was 1874, which they linked to the foundation of the Catholic Church in 539 AD.
Of course,1874 was based on the "a day for a year" formula, so the 1335 days was actually 1335 years! Apparently they dropped that as well and applied literal days in connection to 1914. This is from the Watchtower regarding the fulfillment of the 1335 days:The 1,335 Days
17 Daniel 12:12 says: “Happy is the one who is keeping in expectation and who arrives at the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days!” These 1,335 days, or three years, eight and a half months, evidently began at the end of the previous period. Counting from September 1922, this brings us to the late spring (Northern Hemisphere) of 1926. What happened during those 1,335 days?
18 Despite the landmark nature of events in 1922, evidently some still looked longingly to the past. The Studies in the Scriptures, authored by C. T. Russell, were still basic study material. Further, the widely circulated booklet Millions Now Living Will Never Die presented the view that in 1925, God’s purposes regarding the restoring of the earth to Paradise and the resurrecting of the faithful ones of old would begin to be fulfilled. The endurance of the anointed seemed to be nearly completed. Nevertheless, some associated with the Bible Students did not feel impelled to share the good news with others.
19 As the 1,335 days progressed, all of this changed. To strengthen the brothers, regular group studies of The Watch Tower were organized. Field service was stressed. Beginning in May 1923, everyone was invited to share in field service on the first Tuesday of every month, and time was set aside during the midweek congregation meeting to encourage them in this work. In August 1923, at an assembly in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., it was shown that Jesus’ parable of the sheep and the goats would be fulfilled before the Millennial Reign. (Matthew 25:31-40) The year 1924 saw the inauguration of radio station WBBR, which was used to broadcast the good news over the airwaves. The article “Birth of the Nation” in the March 1, 1925, issue of The Watch Tower gave an adjusted understanding of Revelation chapter 12. Finally, faithful Christians could properly understand the tumultuous events of 1914-19.
20 The year 1925 came to its conclusion, but the end was not yet! Ever since the 1870’s, Bible Students had been serving with a date in mind—first 1914, then 1925. Now, they realized that they must serve for as long as Jehovah wishes. The January 1, 1926, issue of The Watch Tower carried the landmark article “Who Will Honor Jehovah?” highlighting as never before the importance of God’s name. And finally, in May 1926 at the London, England, convention, a resolution was adopted entitled “A Testimony to the Rulers of the World.” This forthrightly proclaimed the truth about God’s Kingdom and the coming destruction of Satan’s world. At the same convention, the hard-hitting book Deliverance was released, becoming the first of a series to replace Studies in the Scriptures. God’s people were now looking forward, not backward. The 1,335 days were concluded.
21 Some were unwilling to adjust to these developments, but those who endured were truly happy. Moreover, as we look back on the fulfillment of these prophetic time periods, we too are happy because our confidence is strengthened that the small body of anointed Christians who lived through those times really is the faithful and discreet slave. In the years since then, Jehovah’s organization has expanded enormously, but the faithful and discreet slave is still at its center, guiding it. How thrilling, then, to know that for the anointed and the other sheep, still more happiness is in store! This will be seen as we consider another of Daniel’s prophecies."(Wathtower 93 11/1 p. 11-12)
So this went from the second coming in 1874 to a vauge "happiness" experienced by members by 1926 with the release of a book. Would the Bible bother to prophesy about keeping in expectation of the '1335 days' if all it amounted to was a publication released by the WTS?

Great video! Thanks for posting this!
Just for the record, Christ talking about "the end" was in the context understood by the Jews, which was the END of the "appointed times of the nations" or the "END of the gentile times." It was NOT about Armageddon or the end of the world at-large. So just for the record, the "end" did occur as prophesied on November 30, 1947. That's when the "END of the gentile times" occurred.
The bible says this "good news" would be preached worldwide and then the end would come. Well, earlier in 1947 NH Knorr went literally on an around the world speaking tour, thus preaching the good news around the world and then the end did come later that year on Novembeer 30, 1947.
Kingdom Proclamation Surges Ahead
With a view to worldwide expansion, on February 6, 1947, the Society’s president and his secretary, Milton G. Henschel, embarked on a 47,795-mile [76,916 km] world service tour. The trip took them to islands of the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, the Mediterranean area, Central and Western Europe, Scandinavia, England, and Newfoundland. It was the first time since 1933 that representatives of the Society’s headquarters staff in Brooklyn had been able to visit their brothers in Germany. Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world followed the two travelers as reports of the trip were published in issues of The Watchtower throughout 1947. (Proclaimers, p. 98)So this came true, specifically! After the world-wide preaching by NH Knorr, proving the "good news" had reached worldwide by this time, then the "end" came on November 30, 1947. That "end" not being Armageddon as misunderstood by JWs, but the "end of the gentile times."
So as usual, the WTS gets things wrong, but the Bible remains true.

Are you baiting me?
Of course, I had a supernatural experience! I became the Christ in 1992.
Essentially, over a 2-day trance while being hid from the UN agents in a commercial dumpster, I experienced the "war in heaven" which was actually a court case against Satan, and then after the spirit of Christ and I became one, I had an interview with Jehovah himself. Thus I got to see his image. He's black with a natural. Tha is why the Bible says his hair is like fine "wool." Actually, Jehovah is a mixture of all races, or a mixture of the two extremes: half white and half black -- like Barak Obama. Someone half white and half black looks black and still has curly hair often.
So, experiencing becoming the physical manifestation of Christ at the 2nd coming was an incredible supernatural experience. But many of the details about who Christ would be at the 2nd coming, that is, the identity of the person's body he would use at the 2nd coming since he can't use his original perfect body, which was given in sacrifice, are right there in the Bible, including that he would be black and gay.
