WTS claims to shine as brightly as the Sun
by cattails injust saw this pop up at the fuentes' forum extjforum.com.
http://www.extjforo.com/foro/showthread.php?t=15473 .
it's a scan (you can thank iloowy for the scan) of the march 15, 2010 watchtower where there's a picture of a radiant sun of a wt logo along with a tm mark right next to a paragraph that says 'they "will shine as brightly as the sun"' (matthew 13:43).. .

Does anyone remember? I thought "new light" from several years ago pushed the "seperating work" into the future..during or after armagadon i thought.
I think this quote from a '97 QFR answers the question. Apparently there is more than one "separating work":
*** w97 7/1 p. 31 Questions From Readers ***However, the fact that the separation of people to life or to death mentioned at Matthew 25:32 is yet future does not mean that no separating, or dividing, occurs before that. The Bible, in Matthew chapter 13, mentions one separation work that occurs earlier.

February 2010 Study Watchtower - Millions Now Living 'May' Never Die
by Marni Mai injust noticed that in the february 2010 study edition of the watchtower, they refer to the "millions now living will never die" talk in 1918, but they have changed the title to "millions now living may never die".
only problem, they included the picture of the invitation to the talk, which says 'will'.. ooops.
it's on page 16. enjoy.. .

I stumbled upon this a while ago and did some research. Open mind is correct; the talk was originally titled "Millions Now Living May Never Die" and was subsequently changed to "Millions Now Living Will Never Die".
The WT$ frequently references the less incriminating title in current era literature.

Do the "top" men in the WTBTS go in field service?
by HappyGuy ini read in a letter from walter salter to j. f. rutherford that salter states that rutherford does not go in field service and salter admonishes rutherford to start going in field service so that he will "know what you are talking about".. i found this a bit surprising.
so, i want to ask anyone who knows the inner workings at the hqs.
do the top men go in field service?
