  Green Burial

  so my cousin gave up her fight against bowel cancer a couple of weeks ago.

  yesterday was the funeral.

  i haven't experienced a green burial before.

  some have been df'd for suspicion of smoking cigarettes, yet bro.

  rogers death is because of an addiction, fentanyl is what they are saying is the drug that did him in which was reported on the news as being more potent than heroine.

  why is it that some nosy sister can report you because someone who looked like you was in the parking lot the same time as she was, yet bro.

  Any doctor that prescribed fentanyl for chronic hip pain should be struck off. MJ was killed by the same stuff. It shouldn't leave a hospital.

  That is one major disadvantage of paying directly for your healthcare. You pay the doctors bills, you call the shots.

  I agree with Smiddy, so-called medical addiction is addiction BUT in this case the poor patient is a victim of his own success, the doctors all want Prince for a patient so they'll give him anything. Elvis too died for the same reasons. Its HUMAN NATURE to get addicted to these drugs. I defy anyone who says they wouldn't.

  How many more of our best and brightest will die because of this " doctor shopping" bullshit.

  so after almost a year of complete inactivity and non attendance, i ran into a nice brother from the local congregation.. after some nice chit-chat, he says "we really miss you and your family...etc...you were always the kind and supportive one, the approachable and encouraging one in the congregation.

  your absence has confused so many".

  i thanked him and said "oh no, no individual has stumbled us.

  ?????? " necessary consequences of developmental dynamics" ....this in no way contradicts our evolutionary history as being the cause of these " developmental dynamics" . Its essentially a meaningless sentence.

  Can you explain why it is "logical" that we should develop that way then????

  Dutch branch refuses to meet with LGBT rights organization.

  in the wake of the anti-gay cartoon, the coc (dutch lgbt rights organization) invited watchtower netherlands to discuss how watchtower is dealing with lgbt people in their ranks.

  focus of the meeting would be on making sure lgbt jw feel safe and fully accepted.. today several newspapers are reporting that the branch declined the invitation, stating that they 'can't imagine lgbt jw feeling unsafe.

  the branch won't talk to coc, but they might discuss internally with lgbt jw.'.

  Good for COC....taking the higher moral ground by offering support and guidance to WT regarding the recent video. That's an example of real brotherly love, not just getting angry and slamming WT for their ignorance but reaching out to them to help.

  WT would do well to learn from their example.

  Carol1111 what an excellent point I had never thought of that.

  Perry Good idea. There are already some web pages etc directed at JWs and written by Christians but something written by an exJW is going to understand their way of thinking that much better. I think a leaflet specifically dealing with the blood issue from a Christian perspective would be really beneficial too....its about saving lives after all.
