hey folks, so i made this video as a response to some of the youtube apostates about my vast apostate army recruitment video.
i'm getting overwhelming comments and messages regarding it and a couple people have called it "the apostate manifesto".

my question is can you as a jw live on same premises as a non jw.... in split house/property with no sexual relations or anything involved... i am being forced to move due to a "sister" wanting to go back to her god and has made the point of saying she cannot have a male around.
even though the property itself is split with seperate access for both parts of the house.. she has put a blanket rule out saying the whole property itself... doesnt make sense to me nor to any of the elders i have spoken to regarding the matter.. yes i called them as i know next to nothing about the faith.. .
i find it strange that two elders urge a non jw to seek justice from fair trading and rental tribunal as they themselves do not belive the actions of the "sister" in question or her family to be correct or right... .
There's no JW anything that forces her to not have a male roommate.
A jw woman absolutely cannot share a flat or house with an unrelated male, jw or not.
However, this is not the case in this instance. There are seperate entrances (presumably it's a house conversion) which is absolutely fine as they are physically two separate properties.
You didn't mention if she or her relatives are your landlords but I presume they are or this wouldn't be an issue. If they are I would recommend taking legal action and although they can make you leave in the end, of course, you should receive some financial compensation.
It might be worth mentioning this to her/relatives/landlord as perhaps you can come to some arrangement whereby they recompense you financially for moving without having to go to court

to quote someone near and dear: they should have built the whole kingdom hall out of the same thing they built the signs.... i had to wait nearly two weeks to get into the neighborhood to get these pictures for your voyeuristic interests...this is peanuts compared to the over 5,000 homes that were destroyed (this number includes individual units in large apartment complexes that were completely razed).

zIm actually fascinated by the trees. I don't know if I'm not seeing them properly, or perhaps I'm not properly cognizant with the effects of fire, but are these perhaps some varieties of ' fire retardant'( for want of a better term) trees? I just vaguely remember hearing about some types of tree from regions that suffer from forest fire learning to cope and proliferate in the future. Or maybe the fire just passed them over, somehow?

have any of you heard some theories from jws that are not based on scripture?
i have, in the past few days, heard a couple that have me shaking my head.. first one is that since satan was around during the creation period and probably watched on as things were being made, it is possible that he is responsible for the creation of some of the more hideous and nasty creatures that live among us.
surely god wouldn't make horrible things.. second one is that satan already had a bad attitude before the creation of adam and eve and was collecting followers among the other angels early on and stirring trouble.
Punky (and everyone)I heard a sister(tm) saying that thing about satan creating wasps and nasty creepy crawlies. So bonkers.
If Satan could do that - create life himself, do they not wonder what differentiates him from God?
Not to mention a lot of these ' creepy crawlies' carry out vital functions - such as pollination, eating pests themselves - without which our whole ecosystem would collapse. That's pretty decent of Satan, I'd say!
how have you all coped with facing the reality of our mortality?.
most of us were raised to firmly believe we would never get old or die... so here we are now having to face the reality that are getting older... we are going to die.. sometimes it really pisses me off that we were never helped to comprehend this most basic of facts.
we were given a utopian dream as a "fact", and hence never taught how to face our inevitable futures.... thoughts?.
Excellent post! Our mortality is something that hit me hard, since I became unwell in my 40s and coincided with my full awakening. Its an important topic that we as exjws should talk about more.
I wonder if it's been studied by psychologists, as it must be a fairly rare phenomenon, no? To be so utterly sure of your own immortality, despite all evidence to the contrary!
SBF The sense being that, if such properties comprise who we are in toto, then the extension or recapitulation of who we are is merely a technical question that will be solved one day.
This is something I firmly believe. That is if we don't destroy ourselves first.
Sadly, SBF, you and I were born too soon and will miss that boat. But energy is just transferred from one form to another. Perhaps part of our energy will become a snowdrop, or a wolf cub?
